I have
NASH
and Cirrhosis as well as a severe bleeding problem that the medics are having difficulties in understanding. Are Varices likely to show up on a US, with my history. Many thanks for trying to helping to sort this

Sharing My Experience: Lean, Mean, Fighting Machine to Obese Individual With Full Blown Live Cirrhosis
On the follow-up CT scan after my kidney stone surgery, they discovered portal hypertension and highly suspected liver cirrhosis from fatty liver/
NASH
. This was confirmed by liver biopsy through my jugular or subclavian vein (not pleasant).

Liver Diagnosis - Does Any of This Sound Familiar?
I’m a 61 year old female who was diagnosed with Fatty Liver/
NASH
in 2014. At that time I estimate my alcohol consumption to be less than 8 drinks a year but was hypothyroid due to having a total thyroidectomy in 2008.

I presume any of those imaging tests will have shown fatty liver or
NASH
I do have a gallstone and the associated on off pain as well, which they are keeping an eye on and the doctor has requested a test for diabetes & Gilberts to see if that is the culprit.

Anxiety and Salt Intake?
He is 55 and has NAFLD or
NASH
related cirrhosis. My second question is he is on no restrictions, but I’m watching our salt intake because why wait until your liver is worse. What is a good amount of salt to have each day? Thank you for reading this long post.

Is NAFLD really reversible and do I have a change
Hi 👋 I am a mother of 7 amazing children and I recently was diagnosed with NAFLD inflammation and
Nash
stage 2 and she said 90% damage, so yes I’m super scared to die, I’ve cried non stop since 2/4/2020 when she read my biopsy to me I wish I would have found out sooner.

Feeling rubbish
I was diagnosed with
NASH
a year ago following ultra sound, fibroscan and liver biopsy and am under the care of Hepatology. I have ITP which the haematologist thinks is down to liver disease. Recently
NASH
has escalated to cirrhosis and my spleen is enlarged, 20+cms.

(New Here) Does the pain improve?
She said something about fatty liver and
NASH
, although I don't remember exactly what. Now, I'm just waiting to see a gastroenterologist. Ugh, I was supposed to be brief. Right now, the pain is my biggest concern since it is significantly limiting me.

What’s the best thing you can do to stop NAFLD/NASH cirrhosis from getting worse?
I know weight loss is a big help, but what else? We are already eating plant based so no dairy or meat.

New Here – Questions About NAFLD & NASH
For those who have NAFLD or
NASH
, what tests or tests ultimately confirmed the diagnosis? 2. Based on my history and tests, is it worth getting a FibroScan or liver biopsy? 3. Can someone, in simple terms, explain the difference between simple fatty liver, NAFLD, and
NASH
?

Process of being diagnosed
I've been told losing weight can help aid and reverse
NASH
is this true? I've always struggled with maintaining a healthy weight would they consider a stomach NHS bypass or is this too risky?

Coronavirus, a Fashionable way to die? medical care in America is broken, among the things that make me mad.
Do you see daily headlines about the
NASH
problem? Has the CDC moved to save those lives. Are celebrities pleading for you to be safe and take care of each other? Not so much.

New blood and fibroscan results
Hi all 5 yrs ago I was diagnosed with
NASH
following biopsy. I also have positive AMA and ANA. Lost 3 stone(20-17st ) all levels doing well until May 2018 when I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Thankfully that was dealt with through surgery only.

Nash and need help
I am so depressed since I am diagnosed with
Nash
F2 S2. I am 38 old . It was a shock for me as I didn't complain from any pain. My hepatologist said it's reverdable , should I believe him. My FIB 4 is normal it's 0.456.

Cirrhosis and surgery
When I told the surgeon I knew I had at least mild cirrhosis with
NASH
, she said she would not do any surgery without approval and a letter from my liver doctor. That there was too much risk if bleeding and maybe something else.

I’m new
I just found out I have cirrhosis/
NASH
. My first concern is changing the way I cook. I’m a southern girl and it’s going to be a huge change. I’m reading everything I see to get started. Can anyone tell me what your first change was?
