Nadolol

I’ve been on generic nadolol beta blocker for 40 years. Recently my pharmacy gave a generic manufacturer I had never heard of. Their version made my condition so much worse. Increased BP, more afib, more anxiety.

I'm taking Nadolol, a beta blocker but still have a widely variable high HR. I might also have a form of heart failure (HF with preserved ejection fraction) but the echocardiogram can't diagnose it when you are in AF, and I'm always in AF.

I've heard that Nadolol is another beta-blocker that can work well for PD.

They did try Verapimril and Dilitzem and it didn’t work or do anything so Calcium channel blockers do nothing for me just beta blockers but only Nadolol worked up to now. 

When I came home from the hospital, I was on 40 mg of nadolol. I was very dizzy and tired, so I called the doctor and asked about the medication and told him my symptoms. He said if you don't feel well just go off of it, so I did.

Also, I’ve done some research on the medicine they have me taking(Nadolol 20mg), and I have no idea why I am on it… it slows my heart done… but my heart already beats slower than the average person🤷‍♂️and I have every single side effect symptoms from this drug.

Nonselective beta-blockers (eg, propranolol, nadolol, timolol, and pindolol) act on both β1- and β2-adrenergic receptors, whereas selective beta-blockers target mainly β1-adrenergic receptor. Reference Sivanesan S, Austlid Taskén K, Hartvedt Grytli H.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced any side effects with the beta blocker Nadolol ? I had a total of 5 SCAs In June this year and now have an ICD fitted. My recovery was going slow but well on Propanolol 40mg TID until it was switched to Nadolol 80mg a week ago.

Hi my gfr is usually around 47 but I had my bloods done yesterday and they are now 37 I'm on nadolol for my heart could this be causing this ?

Nadolol and Propafenone (this last one taken when afib occurred). It has become chronic since last July. I underwent 2 Cardioversions since with no good result. Waiting for a pacemaker procedure in 3 weeks.

I just started blood pressure meds three weeks ago at 48 for slightly elevated BP and now they want me to take Nadolol, which also lowers BP. Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

Looking to replace my nadolol beta blocker since I feel after 20 years and several dose increases it's just not working any longer for my pvcs. My EP is reccomending Diltiazem to see if it will work...180mg to start...anyone have any experience with this calcium channel blocker ?....thank you...

I’m 18 and and I’m taking Nadolol(Beta Blocker) for my tachycardia, it really helps in keeping my heart rate in normal range, if I don’t take it than my heart rate goes up 150 the whole day.

I've been rocking 80mg nadolol just fine, no side effects but man I've been googling sotalol and I'm terrified. It sounds awful. I just want to run again and feel healthy. Anyone have any experience?

They've started me on Nadolol, which isn't helping. The worst part? They put me on a stress test and a heart monitor and both times my heart acted completely normal! They tell me my heart looks fantastic. Then during these episodes it's so painful, I can hardly breathe.

I’m currently taking 120mg of Nadolol to help relieve the symptoms.

Didn't tolerate Nadolol BB. I used it for stress anxiety migraine aura and sleep. Any ideas what I could use instead, preferably not meds

Hi I started 40mg pd Nadolol 3 days ago for long QT. Heart rate was about 52 normally but now late 30s. As i have already been diagnosed vaso vagal syncope i cant imagine this will help. Is the Nadalol to try and correct the QT interval? Im worried i cant function with such a sliw heart beat.

Started on 40mg nadolol today but pulse rate is now 45. He wants me on 80mg but im concerned my pulse rate will be extra low. Can i just stop after 1 day ? Guess i need to check with the cardio

then I was told I have inhereted long QT syndrome and was started on Nadolol beta blocker, this seems to have given me leg jerks in the night so im not sleeping even more and the whole thing is getting out of control When im up and about it's not too bad but once lying down the whole thing is happening
