I’ve been on generic nadolol beta blocker for 40 years. Recently my pharmacy gave a generic manufacturer I had never heard of. Their version made my condition so much worse. Increased BP, more afib, more anxiety. Has anyone else noticed different responses to different generic manufacturers of this medication?
Thanks so much.

Although it doesn't appear to affect me, people on here have reported getting unusual side effects when they are given the same medication manufactured by another supplier compared to their usual suppler, so you are not alone. People in the UK can get their prescription to nominate a particular supplier if this is the case, although this may cause problems if there is a shortage, as seems to be the case for some medication. Clearly this won't happen when medication is still within patent (< 10 years?) but when the patent expires it appears it can be sourced from any company that has a licence to manufacture pharmaceuticals, most likely based on cost.
