Optimal ADT length of time along with radiation for a recurrence 5 years post surgery-research or studies please.
I know there are folks on here that can put their fingers on this quicker than I. There was a gentleman in the prostate cancer support group that I facilitate last evening with a recurrence of Gleason 4 + 5 , five years post-surgery. Could you please provide me with research studies or data indicating

42 yr old prostate cancer
I am looking for some relatable experiences. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. He is 42 years old. His Gleason score was 9, PSA 17.8. He had surgery in March. He had multiple positive margins and one positive lymph node. He started hormone therapy 1 month prior to surgery. We

Hi everybody, this is the first time I post on (any) PC-forum. I can honestly tell you, for me you are a great support! Thank you! I am 76 years (now). Quite fit. May 2021 I was diagnosed with Gleason 9 PC. Tumor was slightly outside the prostate, but no metastasis. Got ADT (june 2021) and two weeks

Ryeqo, anyone on it or tried it?
Just started this today, apparently it's a new drug similar to prostap but in tablet form with hrt included, to be taken once a day for six months. When I picked my prescription up the chemist said the 3 month supply of tablets were very expensive and cost over £200 apparently! I work but i'm on universal

peri menopause
Hi I am 44 and peri menopausal hot flushes, sleepless nights, brain fog on top of my lupus brain fog I am surprised I can remember my own name. Dr does not want to give me HRT due to blood clotting but when I have tried to research lupus and HRT they don’t seem to recommend it. Has anyone had the same

Coming off HRT patches
Hi everyone, I'm 55 years old and I've been on a bit of a health journey these last few years to say the least, with many debilitating symptoms including crushing fatigue. As part of the treatment for this, I went onto HRT oestrogen patches 18 months ago, along with the mirena coil I already had.

Pelvic pain with blood/brown discharge
Hi - I'm 61 and get pelvic pain and occasional blood and brown discharge when I wipe myself after weeing. I've referred to my GP and the issue has been investigated with tests including an MRI scan but they can find nothing wrong. I use HRT patches with combined Progesterone daily. I also use Estriol

Need help to fight fatigue from Radium 223
Stage 4 for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months until it stopped being effective. Currently part of trial with Radium 223. Had 4 cycles already and 2 more to go. After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and ADT. Now having bad fatigue issues; on scale

Blood test results in advance of endo appointment + what are the MHRA guidelines for NDT?
Thank you SO SO much everyone who responded to my post last week about NDT absorption and how I should approach my endo to ask for NDT rather than synthetic T4/T3 therapy. Your responses have made the world of difference. I have my blood test results taken last Friday ready for endo this Thursday (

Is this right or should I request a second opinion?
Been suffering fatigue on another level, weight gain, brain fog etc etc so ordered private bloods for fatigue through medicheck. Results came back as low iron, low Vit D and low T4. THS was normal. Doctors notes was possibly hypothyroid but seek GP advice. Doctor wanted to wait for iron supplements
