But are supplying me Myfenax instead which is a generic. I thought that Mycophenolate brands were not interchangeable and you are advised to remain on the same brand? Is this correct?

I also take a range of other medications like Hydroxychloroquine, Myfenax, Lansoproazole and Losartan potassium. I have been really struggling with anxiety, panic attacks and depression. I can’t think properly. This made it impossible for me to work.

Hi all just a little update i saw my consultant yesterday he has now increased my myfenax from 500mg a day to 1500mg a day still on 15mg preds i asked again about having ritiximab he said to much ritiximab is no good i dont know what he meant by that?

hi, all I have a question because of my recent gpa flare my consultant decided to change me from azathioprine to myfenax(mycophenolate mofetil) I asked him why he said they were not working has anybody had any bad side effects from the new med he has prescribed I was ok on the azathioprine?

4 months on myfenax now but experiencing nasty throbbing in the glands on my neck and a fewchest palpitations ..pain in my knees ongoing but not as frequent so that is an improvement at least. Anyone else have similar symptoms? Thanks 😊

Week 8 on myfenax/cellcept..exhaustion and short term memory a struggle- really impacting my work..its quite upsetting and stressful.

I began Myfenax four weeks ago and for the last week, my period has finally stopped. As I haven't had a clear week like this for years, I'm really happy but wondering if this is the MMF at work?

Also Im using myfenax 1000mg a day. Seriously I have put on weight and want to get rid of at least one stone fast. It's doing my head in. I tried drinking fresh lemon juice b4 food and also drink green tea regularly.

Hi Folks, this is my 1st post, I was diagnosed with GCA in October and I am down to 20 mg pred but my Rheumy has also has me on Myfenax (Mycophenolate mofetil). I haven't seen anything on this site about it, is anyone else on it and does anyone know anything about it. Thx SC

I was given Myfenax 500mg film coated tablets until the beginning of December, but when I put my prescription in for Christmas and New Year tablets, I have been given Accord and also Actavis. I may not get any problems, but am weary of what to look out for.

Started immuno suppressants myfenax and having some success although still active inflammation has reduced. I stumbled across Bechets as a cause of pan uveitis and was shocked that throughout my life at various stages had almost all the common symptoms.

Switched back to cellcept brand of mycophenolate rather than the generic myfenax that I had been taking since May.

I've just come back from seeing my respirology consultant and thought I would share the outcome: The history is that I was started on Myfenax (500mg daily) about 3 weeks ago. Four days later, I developed chills and feverish feelings, accompanied by nausea. My temperature remained normal.

Myfenax. I'm on 3g a day. I guess I was hoping the MMF would work quicker. Headaches are so depressing! Feeling sorry for myself today. I'm losing hair really bad too. But hoping it's not all a sign that a flare is on the way. Or is it just a cold. I guess you don't always find out.

I am now on myfenax 250mg mycophenolate & down to one steroid tablet now my kidneys is now back to normal & my illness is now in remission. What I want to ask is between my lillness & Chemo my mobility Is now effected very bad on bad feet My legs get sore and very tired balance not great at times.
