A month at 23.5 (up from 17.5), got me a couple of good days and now back to intense pain and muscle spasms.
WHAT THE HECK? What should I do? Do I go up by 5? After starting that dose it took 3 weeks for me to feel a good improvement but I hung in. Was really happy when it happened. 2 good days and then.....BAM!Now I am back to PMR high pain levels. This keeps happening. It doesn't make sense to me.

My Jeff, a beautiful life
Sunday, June 26th, Jeff continued to rest at home. We were so very grateful that his pain seemed completely managed and we didn’t have to fret about his hurting. The hospice nurse visited around 10:00 a.m. and considering the circumstances, Jeff was “ok”. His oxygen levels were actually up, his heart

DIO2 Polymorphism and self treatment help Update!
The lightening legs have gone completely but some
muscle
aches and ankle gripes remain, shoulder and back
pain
still linger. I think some of the back pain is due to severely weak (and energy less) core muscles.

Do I have a hysterectomy?
I have suffered with pain since I was 11 years old and am now 38. I have had 2 coils, 2 laparoscopys, tried tri-cycling my combined pill for years, the mini pill, hormone injections and HRT. I have pain for 7-10days on a 2 weekly cycle and feel like my endo rules my life. I feel like I am not able to

Muscle pain, fatigue, stiffness etc
Im a 41 year old male 6'3" tall. TT from cancer in Oct 2015 at about 35 years old. Ever since I have not been right. I have gained weight ever since. From 18-35 i bounced between 200-220.. which was all diet related. I could easily lay off of junk and walk and lose the weight back to normal even dipping

In so much pain from passing large clots… I really hate my uterus. Fed up! 😢
My usual dose of painkillers isn’t working for my adenomyosis & Endo pain this month. I came on yesterday. I think this month is extra painful because I took the Norethisterone to delay my period for my holiday and I regret taking it so much if that’s what’s causing this unbearable pain. Been in tears

One week post op
Hi I donated a kidney Thursday 16th June.. Was out of hospital on the Saturday 18th..Friday out of bed, shuffling about on my feet, a lot of discomfort. Day of going home a slow walk and feeling very delicate. Felt every bump on being driven home. Next three days progressively better pain wise, though

Mri diffusion weighted
Hi everyone I hope you’re doing okay. I’ve had a letter today with an mri appointment I’ve been waiting for & it listed 3 scans, a pelvic mri and an abdominal mri which I’ve had numerous times but it also listed ‘mri diffusion weighted’ which I’ve never had or even heard of before. I tried to google

I know this isn’t directly related to MBC, but I have been having
pain
in this
muscle
- mainly when I lay down. Heating pad helps and I have been taking Mobic for inflammation. Has anyone experienced this and what have you done for it? Thanks! Judy

Wondering...
Eventually I realised that the more I exercised the more I a) ended up in considerable
pain
afterwards and b) was loosing
muscle
strength, especially in my thighs and also my upper arms.

My doctor is trying to take me off cocodamol and giving me paracetamol as it’s not long term. I keep informing them that paracetamol is not going to help and I would just be in so muhc pain. What other medications do you guys use to manage flare ups. I’m currently having one can’t get out of bed I’m

Diagnostic laparoscopy on Friday
The date is getting closer but the pain is much much worse. I finally was told that I had a cyst on my left ovary a month after having my ultrasound scans, and also after being given the date for my laparoscopy. I recently had to go back to taking desogestrel as I had ran out of the new one and with

Maybe why we wait for a cure
I think I may have previously posted some of this story My first Neurologist was a brilliant doctor and brain surgeon and expert in the cardiovascular system. He was head of cardiology at a world class hospital and known around the world. My M.D. went to school with him and they were good friends

Advice on recent blood test
The
muscle
pain
, headaches, brain fog, not sleeping well, skin problems, hair falling out, exhaustion, unable to walk without walking sticks - all began to improve. Over the couple of months everything just kept getting better.

Hi everyone I asked a little while ago if anyone swapped painkillers from gabapentin to pregabalin as I just had unfortunately although mg pregabalin is equal to 800mg gabapentin my body definitely doesn’t agree so I was thinking of asking to change back again. Does anyone know please if this is correct

Help Please
Had my first rheumatologist appointment on Thursday, he too, like my two GPs are convinced it’s not Polymyalgia. He’s suggesting bursitis, or tendonitis. I had five X-ray, blood’s taken, and a thorough examination of my joints, which he says are all good. I’ve to reduce my steroids, currently on 10,
