Has the Pulsed Field Ablation technique increased success rate?
Although Flecainide 50mg bid has kept AF episodes to a much lower frequency, 6 in ‘23, I’d like to hear from a few more of you who have undergone this new procedure. What are the results; is the blanking period shorter; anyone had it done at Royal Bournemouth Hospital? I hear reports that it’s much

ropinirole for travel?
Until last July I had been taking 1mg of ropinirole 3 x daily. Since then I have successfully weaned myself off 2 mg during the day and only take 1 mg at night. Three months ago I began seeing a specialist and she has me on 75 mg 3x a day. My question: I am taking a trip to Europe in May and am worried

Completely lost
I’m 72 & in general good health (I think) except for Osteopenia and that I inherited Restless Legs from my mum. I started on .25mg Ropinirole 7 years ago which was like magic but it’s slowly increased to 3x.25mg per night. Perhaps not a big dose but I learned via this site it’s best to switch from Ropinirole

Could someone please provide me with a link for the Mayo Clinic for up to date information on RLS. I have found one Mayo Clinic document that uses Pramipexole and Ropinirole as treatment for RLS. I thought these meds were not used anymore? Thank you.

Magnesium and Lavender
I take Magnesium capsules at night to sleep and since starting, I rarely feel RLS. If I'm particularly exhausted, I do feel it, in which case, I use Feather and Down Sleep butter. It stops it in seconds. It is lavender-based. There is a version that also has a dose of Magnesium in it. I'd surmise that

Ropinerole
I've been on Gabapentin and Ropinerole for 25 years, and finally got off due to the terrible effects of augmentation. I've been on Lyrica now for about 6 months, and other than not having daytime symptoms, my nights have been worse than ever. I was at a motel recently, and took one Ropinerole because

Carbomer eye gel
Good morning. I was at the ophthalmologist yesterday getting umpteen scans and things due to taking hydroxychloroquine. I have very dry eyes once the UV starts to increase (usually February so bang on time). The ophthalmologist gave me carbomer eye gel to use before I go to bed and told me to continue

Update after stopping sertraline
hi everyone, Just an update. I posted here a few weeks ago. RLS had got worse and I have needed escalating doses of ropinorole . I’m 51 yo and have had RLS in pregnancy and it resurfaced in the past 5-7 years, in perimenopause. My mood symptoms were incorrectly diagnosed as anxiety, rather than being

Sjogrens - Tooth Loss, Gum Disease
Hello, I'm new to this and hoping someone can help. I have Sjogrens and a couple of other autoimmune conditions. I experienced a dramatic deterioration with teeth and gums 2 years ago, dentist advised I would lose all my teeth within 6 months and because of the lack of saliva I could not get dentures

Buprenorphine triggers RLS (briefly)?
I have noticed this three times in the last few weeks, after being on suboxone (sub-lingual strips) for last 2 months. Within 5 minutes of taking the suboxone, my RLS will kick in (generally at a medium-ish intensity). I've not rode it out to see how long it lasts - I've taken some cannabis to lessen

Buprenorphine/Naloxone (Suboxone)
Hello. I am in Canada and I, and my four siblings, have suffered with RLS, most of our lives. I am 68 now and have struggled with RLS since I was in my late 20’s. I have been through it all and done it all including 6 years on pramipexole, augmentation and horrible detox. Gabapentin did not work,

Checking medication
Hi, I was chatting to a colleague today about their restless legs which have been unbearable lately. Their doctor put them on Perindopril for high blood pressure, Amiodipine- a calcium channel blocker, and Fenofibrate for high cholesterol. He thought they made his legs so much worse (his doctor doesn't

Belbuca vs. Suboxone
I’m in the US (CA). I’ve been on Suboxone for two months and it handles my RLS quite well. I’m currently taking about .4 mg (1/5 of a 2mg strip) nightly. I’ve gotten over the tiredness that arose for the first month or so, but the constipation is no fun. I’ve read one study that says buccal applications
