Problems with poo since birth...
Since then he has been on lactulose, senna,
movicol
and we’ve been given picosulfate to use once a week if he hasn’t been. His tummy has always been distended and last year he was put to sleep to be emptied out. He’s been given enemas at his consultant appointments too.

Mixed emotions
So he told me to have a healthy diet and put me on permanent
Movicol
long term, as my bowel wasn't great and he said it may ease my symptoms.

Laxido - movicol
A short quick question, Is
Movicol
and laxido peadatrician exactly the same. Or possibly slightly different. My daughter's been on
movicol
for years no issue. There was a manufacturing problem so she had to change onto laxido. Since then she's had awful stomachs cramps/ possible wind.

The docs have prescribed

Nearly 9, bedwetting
He's never had
movicol
or anything like that, doesn't drink juice, doesn't drink late. Really struggling, wondering if it's because he's worrying about things but he can't / won't say if he is :-( Any advice gratefully received x

Bowel help
AT that time she changed from
movicol
to laxido due to a manufacturer problem , Everytime she eats she gets stomach ache and gets upset, she says she feels poo. The doctor advised last week to do a disimpactation regime to which we did.

Laxido
Not sure if anyone can help, my daughter was on
movicol
no issues now she's on laxido. She's not long finished a disimpactation and really been struggling with her tummy and then she says her mouth, this is when she's eating most time.

4 year old - first disimpaction. Please help
He's in a huge amount of discomfort but we're unsure if this is still due to actual pain from impaction or whether the impaction has cleared and it is fear of the process along with bloating from the
movicol
itself.

Hes been prescribed both

Withholding
We have tried
movicol
, lactilose and osmolax and we sometimes do 120g a day and he still won’t go! The problem is trying to get him to Drink that amount of liquid. He is so determined not to have anything to do with going to the toilet.

3 year old refuses to poo. Please help me!
She’s on
movicol
which we have reduced to try and encourage her to do it without it, but she just hates going. We are day 3 of no poo. This happens regularly. Affects her mood and obviously makes her very uncomfortable. Once she starts to actually poo she gets excited to see it go into the toilet.
