Movicol advice

Starting movicol with 4 year old but he's refusing to drink it! Any advice, or alternatives ,please?!

As long as you mix it with the correct amount of water first you can add it to anything else afterwards, jelly, gravy etc...

I used to put a little bit of apple juice with it

I mix it with some pure fruit juice or add it in with some chocolate soya milk and my 4 year old has no idea it’s there. It’s really important to mix it with the correct amount of water first though before adding it to something else. Good luck!

We used to add milk after it was made up. After a while we changed to lactulose as smaller quantities but not so effective. Back on movicol now she’s older and she happily drinks it plain- so it gets easier. Good luck.

Its now day 5 of disimpaction, very sludgy poo, using pant liners in 4 Yr old's underwear but still messy! What have others used on this age group? Thanks 😊
