Headaches post Gamma knife surgery
GP has doubled my
mometasone
prescription which has helped but only slightly. The pain is random, often lasts up to 3 seconds and I might have multiple episodes an hour. Genuine thoughts please.

Any advice?
Saw a better GP who finally agreed to refer me, and gave me a steroid nasal spray -
mometasone
furoate. Things got better, thankfully.

Reaction between thyroid meds and antibiotics and increased sensitivity to prescription drugs
I was also given a prescription for
Mometasone
nasal spray with instructions to use this “long term”. On googling this it has the same wording as the penicillan – doesn’t normally react with thyroid meds!! How can I trust it won’t in my case?

Since we are having to be our own doctors now & try to diagnose ourselves since you can't get hold of anyone who knows , I wondered if anyone has experience of a steroid nasal spray called
Mometasone

Allergy meds
A better option would be a topical nasal steroid like Flonase® (fluticasone), Rhinocort® (budesonide), Nasonex® (
mometasone
) or Nasacort® (triamcinolone)." Has anyone tried one of these nasal sprays and did it affect your afib or interact with your meds?

Mometasone Nasal Spray
How long would you expect it to take for
Mometasone
Nasal Spray to start to work, please? I've been taking it for nearly 2 weeks and no improvement on Post Nasal Drip so far. I was using Flixonase before and that didn't work. Was really hoping the new spray would! Thanks.

Following creams are prescribed >> Canesten HC >> Fucidin >> Elidel >> Eumovate >> Canesten HC >>
Mometasone
Furoate .. Most of these creams really supposed to be for short-term use but some doctors prescribe for on-going use.

Should I get circumcision at 32 years old?
I have been using
mometasone
furoate to treat my phimosis, but after 2 weeks of using it, I have only been able to retract my foreskin when flaccid and it still feels tight. Now I am aware that phimosis and hpv are risk factors for penile cancer.

Short Synacthen Test for AI
So I will be unable to have my Fostair 200/6 and
mometasone
nasal spray. I am also on Spiriva Respimat 2 puffs morning, as well as ipratropium (Atrovent) and salbutamol via nebuliser 3-4 times daily (as well as other asthma meds). I have been told that these are ok to continue.

I use a Nebulizer, Strerimar sea nasal spray,
mometasone
furoate nasal spray. The consultant at the Royal Brompton said use the Atrovent inhaler twice, 15 minutes before the postural lung drainage, which I do.

mometasone
for new congestion/lung issues which could be connected - who knows!

How do I know if my asthma is mild/moderate etc?
I have just been given Fostair 200/6 inhaler instead of my usualAirFluSal and continue to take montelucast,
mometasone
nasal spray and an antihistamine. GP says if this doesn't work she will refer me on.
