1/2 way through Xofigo with Apaludamide increasingly ineffective. PSA is declining. MO tells me Xofigo not the cause.
Hello all. 18 months since diagnosed stage 4 metastatic PC. Mets almost everywhere. PSA was 512 at diagnosis. Apaludamide/Trelstar combo lowered PSA to 0.60. Began to climb again April this year and Xofigo was suggested. I've now completed 3 of 6 treatments. Told Xofigo isn't to reduce PSA by my MO

Feel guilty
Dear all,I know many of you are having a tough time and my thoughts are with you. I am a bit confused about a consultation I had on Saturday (of all days). In 2019 I was told I had cirrhosis and had maximum two years to live so from that day I stopped drinking and I was so lucky to be able to do it on

I had a TBI two years ago at work causing a subdural Haematoma, midline shift and a stroke as well as the effects of your brain being compressed. The fog in my head has slowly begun to lift and allow me to reflect on the changes that have happened over that time. One of many things that I now encounter

My first PSA after HT reporting confusion
I’ve just finish 19 months of Zoladex and RT to prostate only (localised G9 / PSMA/CT clear no evidence of SV involvement with PSA 6) My usual lab have been reporting my PSA as <0.01 ug/L since RT 18 months ago. My first 3 month testosterone is 0.8 nmol/L (23 ng/dL) and my PSA <0.03 ! Why is it

At what PSA will a PSMA PET scan be useful?
Hi everyone My father has been on Lupron for 3 years now. We stopped Abi last year due to rising blood sugar levels. His PSA used to hover between 0.6-0.8 (with an occasional spike to 1.2). PSA in May 24 was 0.6. Today, however, his PSA came back as 2.5. Plan is to restart Abi and monitor. But I wanted

Recurrent prostate cancer at 5 months after radical prostatectomy, with psa up to 0.2. PSMA and MRI negative. Now on Leuprolide and Nubeqa.
My Gleason was 9. Incontinence has been an issue since the RP and even though it has improved still leaked around 30 ml a day. Delaying radiation that I was recommended by one institution but some Oncologists say to delay radiation for more recovery. Even though my PSA is 0.01 on the meds, i worry

Common drug restores youthful function to clean up aging brains
A drug used to induce labor in pregnant women has been shown to reactivate tiny waste-clearing pumps in the brains of old mice.
The finding could hold promise as a new way to fight Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases and overall cognitive decline.

I always try to chat about something I feel is important for everyone to know about. Today I want to go to something very basic - your Urso dosage.
1. Urso is the proven first line treatment for PBC and should be started as soon as PBC is suspected
