Diagnostic lap yesterday
He said he didn't find any endo but found and drained a 2 cm simple cyst & also fitted a
mirena
coil. Does this mean then I definitely don't have endo? I hear that cysts just fill up again, so why did he do it, bit confused over it all.

Sex after excision surgery
Just to add: I also had the
mirena
cool fitted during my surgery. My husband is worried the pain is more related to that instead of my operation. If this is the case, how long does this sort of pain last?

Mirena Coil Moved?! After Surgery Help
Hello, I just came out of hospital yesterday after having an extensive laparoscopy on my bowel, but during the surgery I had a
Mirena
Coil fitted to then help with the general pain afterwards.

In pain and feeling tired
I am now 52yrs old and we did not manage to have children. 12 years ago I had the
mirena
coil fitted because I was having heavy periods and they found a fibroid. I have had 4 coils fitted since then. 18 months ago I started with heavy bleeding again.

Scared about Laparoscopy on Friday 31st.
I am scared about having a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy as well as maybe putting a
mirena
coil in. Has anyone else had the same done? I am also petrified that i will wake up after the op to be told that they've found nothing.

Newly diagnosed
Mirena
would not go in (ham fisted GP, sore and bleeding for 5 days after with no options given for alternatives) and GP was not willing to do anything due to my age presumably as near menopause despite having no symptoms.

Heavy Bleeding with Mirena Coil and Prostap Injection, what gives?
After meds to reduce bleeding didn't work, my GP suggested to have a
Mirena
coil fitted, it was too painful so the procedure was abandoned to I was booked in for a hysteroscopy. Three moths before I was given a Prostap Injection which worked a treat.

Mirena Replacement
After much tooing and froing with the NHS since last August, I've finally has my
Mirena
replaced. In the end i went private, so I'll be around £400 down but i cant explain how happy I am that it's sorted.

Endo and Mirena
Been to the doctors with my symptoms today, I had diagnosed myself but she was great scd said it sounds like endo on my bowel (women's health practitioner) To begin with she suggested we try the
mirena
coil as my symptoms are only on day 1 of my period and during ovulation.

Zoladex worry
I had it removed and the
mirena
put in at the same time.. I ended up having it removed after 5 months as it gave me constant pain, inflammation and had to have 3 courses of antibiotics. I've tried a couple of different contraceptive pills and am now currently taking micronor.

Gynaecologist appointment and feeling discouraged
I finally saw a gynaecologist after a long waiting.I felt rushed and not being taken serious. lt was strongly suggested that I should start on Zoladex and HRT's asap to help with pain ,
Mirena
coil has not improved the pain.Laparoscopy booked for 27th May .he could not answer most of the questions

I have had the

Not getting anywhere fast with diagnosis
ladies, I've had symptoms for the past 10 years and decided I couldn't wait any longer for a referral and I paid to go private gynaecologist and she wasn't very thorough in her questions to me and came out with after examining me internally that she doesn't think it's endo and my choices are a to try

Pain after mirena
I had the
mirena
fitted after a laparoscopy for the removal of endo at the end of January. I've had cramps every day since it was put in but they are becoming more painful now and also have hip pain?! Feel like an old lady :(!! Has anyone experienced this?

Fobbed off by specialist despite confirmed endo
All she has suggested is adding a pill (cerazette) on top of the
mirena
to at least try to stop my cycle (although I last year I was on the implanon implant AND Yasmin run together and still bled throughout).

To Mirena coil or not to Mirena coil?
Obviously I was willing to try the
Mirena
coil but now I'm so unsure whether or not to have it fitted and try again... if anyone has had similar experiences or tried the
Mirena
coil, please let me know what you think of the
Mirena
coil and it's effectiveness in stopping periods/helping endo.

Still back pain - endo or mirena?
I had the
mirena
coil fitted at same time. Yesterday and today I've had low back ache. Is this a symptom of coil settling or the endo? I had no idea I had endo and this pain has been here due to cyst before. Any suggestions for relief?

Lonely
My gp simply told me that cramping was to be expected after having the
Mirena
coil put in. Had the coil put in during my laparoscopy as an added precaution- I'm due to start an expensive 3 month course shortly and was terrified of pains returning and having to take time off.
