I'm not sure if I have an STI or just PID where I had the marina coil fitted every so often I get a really tender lower abdomen area that sort of cramps up at the moment it's really itchy around my vaginal opening but I have no discharge and it doesn't hurt when I urinate, I havnt had sexual intercourse with anyone new but I have been in sexual contact with someone new what do you think this could be?

Honestly PID is not something doctors will jump to first. You really should go see your doctor though. I just got an iud as well. I am almost positive I have PID, but my doctor says there is nothing wrong. Not sure it may just take your body some time to adjust to a new object in a sensitive spot inside you!
