Periods getting heavy again with mirena coil?
I have been using the
mirena
for 5 months now to treat my Endometriosis, which i had removed with laparoscopy in January. At first my periods were light with the
mirena
pink in colour, still very painful, but light bleeding.

Delay I biopsy results
Under GA I had the
mirena
coil removed as It was out of date and a biopsy done. The consultant after said all looked normal and I would receive the results by post. I asked the discharge nurse how long this would take and she said up to 3 weeks. It's now nearly 4 and I'm so worried all the time.

Since then I have tried the contraceptive pill, the
Mirena
coil, zoladex injections along with painkillers. I have still had irregular bleeding (can bleed for 3 out of 4 weeks non stop) and a lot of pain around my pelvis, lower back and legs.

Marina coil
Hello, I just wondered if anyone else has had the marina coil and their experiences with it. I only got it 2 weeks ago (worst pain I've felt) since then my pain has got 10x worse than before and more frequent. I have heard that it does take a while to settle, I am wondering is it worth it? It is causing

Unsure what to do
I had laparoscopic surgery in 2015 and was diagnosed with Endometriosis, and also had a
mirena
inserted. I went to my gynaecologist on Friday as my pain has been quite bad lately and I want to do something about it.

I'm very much stuck. I don't know what to do.
I had the
mirena
coil fitted a month and a half ago, I've never done well with contraceptive methods but I figured anything to mean I can stop taking so many painkillers or at least stop with the codeine and tramadol. Although the pain is less frequent, majority of the time, it's worse.

Endometriosis on the ureter?
I also had a
mirena
coil fitted. I have had no further info except in my discharge letter it said it was too dangerous to remove and would need to be removed from the ureter at a later date. I have (probably stupidly) hit google and now am in a panic!

Help
Hello all! So I'm 26 and for the last 4 years been suffering with all the symptoms to endometriosis. I have been on the floor crying my eyes out in pain and I don't do crying! Sex is a massive no go for me. Periods were unimaginably painful, going to the toilet is a nightmare sometimes, I'm constantly

Newbie wanting advice
Hi I'm new to this, I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis in December I've had a laparoscopy to remove some of the tissue, a cyst and drain my Fallopian tubes. After experiencing a lot of agonising pain with the endo especially during menstral cycle to the point I can't stand as my legs feel numb

Mirena IUS
Apparently the
mirena
can be removed and fertility can return to normal almost instantly it can also stop periods which would be great as mine have been stopping me from going to work recently. Thanks Leenie

Hello I am new here.
I had the
mirena
coil for 16 years and thought that it maybe the cause of the Fibromyalgia. I had this taken out about three months ago and was told I needed a hysterectomy as I had 3 fibroid, one 6 cm, one 3 cm and one 2 cm. I still have the pains etc.

Period after Mirena coil taken out
I bled and had a 'period' straight away once the coil was taken out and that was painful.. I've been having period cramps for the past week or so but no blood. Is this the build up to one hell of a period? How has the first period been after its been taken out for everyone else?

Newbie, first time posting... Questions after 1st Laparoscopy
Hi everyone, So glad I have found this site. I had a laparoscopy done in March to remove Endo and had the Marina Coil fitted after a long battle with GP's and Gynaecologists telling me there was nothing wrong and maybe it was in my head. It was quite bad and they removed about 80% of it. They could

Daily Spotting for Months since Coil & Lap
Hey ladies, I'm having a terrible time 😞 In Nov 16, I had my third laparoscopy and cystoscopy (where endo was found and removed) and whilst having the lap, my surgeon inserted the
mirena
coil. However, since February I have been having daily 'spotting'.
