Coming off HRT patches
As part of the treatment for this, I went onto HRT oestrogen patches 18 months ago, along with the
mirena
coil I already had. I had some side-effects including breast tenderness and bloating and couldn't tolerate a patch higher than Evorel 25.

Feeling abandoned by Hospital - Advice?
Didnt hear for quite a few weeks and this week, a letter arrived stating: We recommend the
Mirena
Coil, please speak with your local GP, they will arrange an ultrasound as 'I' am worried about cysts. and that they deem my pain to be muscles, hormones and lifestyle.

Considerations before a hysterectomy
Am in constant pain and
mirena
not helping. Get migraines. Bowels are getting worse. Fatigue getting worse. Feel like I'm not a good parent. Also thought I was too young and concerned about afterwards but don't know much about it. What questions should I ask?

I'm on HRT (Evorel patches,
Mirena
coil and testosterone gel). However, I CANNOT STOP EATING. I eat until I make myself feel ill. I want to go back to marathon-running, heavy weight-lifting me. Or even something that loosely resembles it. I have no self-control at all.

Mirena coil
Does anyone have experience of
mirena
coil? I'm approaching 50 and my GP has suggested switching to that from Gedarel (combined pill), which I've been on for years with no problems. I've never liked the idea of the coil but they won't prescribe Gedarel after 50...

Prostap for Endometriosis?
(For background, there are no polyps or adenomyosis ruled out by hysteroscopy, no bowel issues ruled out by colonoscopy, ultrasound and MRI found nothing, and can’t have
mirena
due to uterus shape. I’m 50 and very peri menopausal!)

Pain in legs?
Hi guys, I’ve had the
Mirena
coil fitted last December. And since then I’ve had a pelvic infection for a while. Then going back and forth with medication it managed to stabilise for a couple weeks.

Hormones - coil and patch
I’m really struggling with endo pains three years after excision surgery and have a
mirena
coil fitted but have been told to try the patch as well to shut my cycle down. I really had having all these hormones put in my body and worried about the side effects

Mirena Coil Side Effects
I had the
mirena
coil fitted 6 months ago. 10 days after the coil was fitted I contacted my GP complaining of severe shoulder pain. I am still in agony most days, and nights are the worst. I am getting by on anywhere between 0-3 hours sleep due to being so uncomfortable in pain.

Mirena IUD
What’s everyone’s experience with the
mirena
coil? I have had mine for 4 months now and had it inserted whilst I was under for my lap. I have a new symptom of stinging pains and my cramps are unbearable?! Is it worth me sticking it out?

Mirena coil and double desogestrel. Is it too much?
hi, first time posting. Short version - I currently have the coil in and my dr has just told me to double my desogestrel. Firstly, I’m worried about the safety of this? Secondly I really don’t feel I’m coping with the hormone overload. Has anybody else had this treatment before? Is it sustainable? Will

pain and ultrasound scan
Lap was purely diagnostic and no removal but inserted
mirena
during lap. The pain has lessened compared to what it was thankfully but I was still having upper right cyclical pain alongside the lower right endo pain I always have. so the gp sent me for a scan to rule out anything else.

Estradiol levels high? and progesterone help!
I'm reluctant to have a
mirena
coil as I have had issues with coils in the past. Initially I had the evorel sequi, the progesterone didn't agree with me, so I have tried micronised progesterone.

hysterectomy advice
I had a
mirena
coil fitted and my bleeding settled although still was being irregular. Was told to have monthly zoladex injections that initially made my bleeding worse but did eventually settle.

Worried about persistent HPV
I don't have any bleeding because I've got the
Mirena
coil and it's stopped my periods (I am still experiencing hormonal fluctuations and associated symptoms though). I'm worried that the colposcopy consultant got it wrong and I should have been retested. Has anyone experienced persistent HPV.
