Advice Please!!
Hormones; I currently have the
Mirena
coil but had it inserted 3 years ago, which she thinks needs to be changed. Initially Iāve refused to have another one due to how traumatic it was at the GP, but she has assured me that thereās sedative and penthrox/entonox options as she would be doing it.

Feeling so lost and Alone!
Undiagnosed but suspected Endo GP tried to fit
mirena
coil a few weeks back but couldn't measure as my womb neck was too tight. She wants to try again this Friday with local but I am so scared. The last one made me suffer for days and I just don't know what to do.

Pain worse after coil fitted
Hi everyone, I had the
Mirena
coil fitted in November to help with my Endo pain and bleeding. They did say it can take 6 months before it starts to work but the pain has worsened and the fatigue is awful!

Mirena or endo pain?
During the op I had the
mirena
coil inserted. Now 14 months later, Iām still having pain most days. I finally have a gyno appt coming up in a few weeks and I think theyāre going to suggest having my coil taken out, which feels like a really big decision.

Mirena
coil was fitted during the surgery and my cramps came back (no as bad as it use to be š¤š») before the
mirena
I was under two mini pills x days to cut completely my period and handle my pain.

Marina coil at 56
I'm 56 and have just enquired about having my marina coil replaced. This would be my 3rd cycle. Initially for heavy painful periods. Now along side a hrt gel. Dreading a no answer, those heavy periods stopped me doing anything. Also I don't want yo take hrt gel for ever. Just one more cycle please

Some advice please
I have severe endometriosis, had the
mirena
coil fitted and am currently on Zoladex. A recent MRI has now shown that the endo has spread to my bowel and that my uterus is stuck to my bowel. My consultant has advised that my options now are to have a hysterectomy and/or possible bowel surgery.

GYNO APPNT GONE WRONG
The pain has definitely decreased dramatically since straying the pill and then moving to the
mirena
All I got told was to loose weight and wait for surgery.

Mirena coil malposition, low lying
Hi everyone I currently have the
Mirena
coil which was inserted/replaced during my lap in March 2021. I just had an internal ultrasound due to ongoing add increasing pain to check if any new cysts and luckily none found. However my
Mirena

Symptoms post hormonal treatment
Iāve had the
mirena
coil for almost 8 years (8 years post diagnosis) and Iāve started having symptoms again. No bleeding or severe cramps but bad back and pelvis pain. Has anyone else had this post hormonal treatment? Or am I being overly worried?

First Gynae Appointment
I explained everything, she pushed hormones on me repeatedly, just not
Mirena
as my womb is the wrong shape for it. She was against a lap, as she said theyād treat with hormones anyway, which Iāve heard a million times before.

Fatigue
I have endometriosis, but have a
mirena
coil which has stopped my periods. I have some pain at times, but it follows no pattern and doesn't cause me too many issues. However, I've had ongoing issues with fatigue for as long as I can remember now.
