Constipation
Years ago I started out with diarrhea type IBS...then for a few years it just 'went away'... Now my body has decided (at the interesting ol' age of 79) to play with Constipation!! I drink plenty 'eat right' and all that jolly stuff...but as we know, that doesn't always work... ANYWAY...I was wondering

I'm a new girl and now worried
I have been a RLS since I was thirteen and am now in my seventies. RLS has been a curse as it has prevented me from enjoying theatre, concerts etc. My GP has put me on Mirapexin which has really helped me. Having just joined this site I am astonished to read that it is a horror drug. What exactly is

regimen
C/L? Little faith in it. At four o'clock a.m. I take one ER 50/200 and I take two at four o'clock p.m. By choice. My neuro prescribed 3X/day but I adjust what and when I take. C/L does nothing for me. No effect. But I fear not taking any may be harmful in the long run. My regimen: 1X / day: MiraLax

Constant Bruised tender feeling in left colon area- is it truly just IBS-C???
Ok, so 4 years ago I had this tender, full like feeling in my lower left abdomen. It wasn't constant, more like I'd feel it right as I bent to sit down or when I bent to tie a shoe, or pick something up. It felt like constipation so I tried to treat it as such. I was able to have bowel movements every

Finally some relief!
I had seen many neurologists over the years, was prescribed
Mirapex
, requip to max dosage, 4mg Neupro patch which all eventually made me so much worse. Dr. Rajeev Kumar at the Rocky Mountain Movement Disorder Center assesed me and said I was in the top 1% of people who suffer from RLS.

Amitiza vs Linzess
Is anyone on Linzess? I have been taking amitiza (24mcg twice daily) for over a year now. I have bowel issues due to MS (neurogenic bowels and motility problems). For the most part, amitiza has helped, but not totally corrected the problem. My gastroenterologist has mentioned trying Linzess. I have NO

Trying to wean off Mirapexin nightmare.
To tide me over whilst trying to come off mirapexin, because of augmentation problems, my gp prescribed me clonazepam and quinine . I went home with high hopes that this was going to stop the torture I was going through, and also let me sleep. However, it made my symptoms so much worse that I was awake

Many symptoms and Thyroid/auto immune tests positive
I have never in my life thought so much could go wrong at the same time. I have a TBI, which got worse with each of my two pregnancies, I had the worst luck of incompetent doctors not believing me for a long time, actually had me convinced I was making it all up until it was proven they were wrong, my
