Minoxidil

I happened to mention it during a private meeting with my Female Pharmacist and was told her Mother also took Hydroxychloroquine and she also experienced hair loss which she combatted with Minoxidil. I decided to cease taking Hydroxychloroquine and, in my case, my hair improved.

I also take Minoxidil as prescribed by my dermatologist for hair loss. After many years of trying to see if optimising my thyroid would help, I have actually been diagnosed with Female Pattern Hair Loss (hereditary).

The obvious solutions for this problem are: Regaine - - a topical solution which I think would be okay, if it weren't 96% alcohol.

**I would also like to add that i have read Vitamin B12 can help Tinnitus,so i take 1000ug Vitamin B12 dual power (methlcobalamin 666ug and Adenosylcobalamin 334ug) As well as 5000iu Vitamin D3 + K2 (100mcg) Multivitamins Biotin 12000ug Cod Liver Oil also Dutasteride (0.5mg) & Oral Minoxidil (2.5mg)

One study found that rosemary oil was as effective as minoxidil, a common hair loss treatment, in increasing hair count. Another study demonstrated that rosemary oil can significantly improve hair growth in individuals with androgenetic alopecia.  

What are y’all thoughts on minoxidil with AMN? I’m trying to keep these luscious locks. I still have a good amount of hair but am definitely starting to see some crowning. Thanks

Hello everyone, I am considering using Minoxidil in the form of foam for my thinning hair as recommended by a dermatologist. She mentioned that Minoxidil does not cause tinnitus and I am wondering what happens if you already have T… Anyone here with experience using this product? Thank you!

Today's online edition of the New York Times, https://www.nytimes.com/2022/08/18/health/minoxidil-hair-loss-pills.html, has an article on how very low doses of minoxidil can reverse hair loss. Anyone try it?

I should add, I take omega 3 fish oils and recently have started taking biotin and rubbing in Minoxidil.

Having had experience of heavy medication by French specialists, I just got 2% minoxidil from pharmacy.

I used to apply minoxidil but I stopped as u have to use for rest of life! The hair loss has spread to the back and front too. Thanks

I recently paid to see a dermatologist privately who said I’m suffering with all over thinning and diagnosed Androgenic Alopecia which he said is genetic and prescribed Minoxidil in tablet form twice daily.

Current Meds Lisinopril 80mg per day Nicardipine 120mg per day Bisoprol 10mg per day Frusemide 40mg per day Minoxidil 15mg per day Just fed up with BP and never feeling great.

At 19 with full remission after a few months of minoxidil. I then had at 23. I initially had it treated with scalp clobetasol and minoxidil, but it kept falling out and didn’t regrow after a year.

Has anyone tried Minoxidil for hair loss when on Ibrance and Letrozole?

Hi, I am 24 yo, no medical conditions and had been using Minoxidil 5% for 1.5months(50 ml used in total), after this period I suddently started to have headaches, dizziness, zero libido and ED.

I use Vaniqua and minoxidil topically. Thanks in advance! x
