heart disease and minoxidil

Hi I have coranary heart disease and vasospasm but have had issues with thyroid and hair loss.Has anyone been on oral minoxidil with similar issues at all.

I suggest you talk to a Pharmacist or your Cardiologist for advice.

I live with vasospastic angina. I only take medication that is prescribed by my Cardiologist.

Some medications can interact with each other causing more severe side effects.

I tried taking minoxidil for a month. I felt my angina was getting worse so stopped .

Minoxidil may cause heart issues but my dermatologist was surprised I had trouble at low dose

I have been on it for years and stopped once I had angina because of the multiple meds I was on.

I started back on it for two months with no issue but that was before I read stuff online and was going to start it again but hesitant as angina can be rare side effect.
