Advice on ruling out anxiety
When I brought up
microvascular
angina
(as I present as normal bp, low bmi, clear large arteries etc) he just said there are medications but they make you dizzy?? And wasn’t really interested in my thoughts on it.

Couple of questions please :)
Firstly, does anyone know if any of the heart meds cause ringing in the ears? I’ve just started an extra one this week, Trangina XL, kind of a slow release constant GTN, am wondering if it’s that? Also, does anyone have experience of ‘complicated angioplasty’ I have 2 narrowings on the LAD, one which

Microvascular Angina (CSX)
Hi I have a cardiologist appointment next month at last. My symptoms are daily ☹️ I get pain in my chest and surrounding area mostly at rest, it goes in to my neck, jaw, and down my left arm. I use my GTN spray it helps ease the discomfort. Tightness, heaviness, pain and occasionally I get a few sharp

Unusual AF trigger
I started with ectopics in 2010 accompanied with bilateral chest aching across the top and sown sternum. I was admitted for tests as my ECG has an abnormality, some part of it was below the midline. Was sent home with a diagnosis of Costochronditus. This continued on and off and the first PAF attack

Causes of chest pain that aren’t cardiac related.
Let’s see how many alternatives we can come up with to help ease people’s worry over their heart. Il go first. Tight chest muscles

My new cardiologist letter after my return from a French hospital
Note he finally agrees it's cardiac after saying it wasn't all along because I had a stent. Also he has pretty much agreed that it is
microvascular
angina
if my next angiogram comes back clear as expected. How long have I been banging on about it being cardiac and
microvascular
angina
?

Finally home after second angiogram
HOORAY finally they have realised it's
microvascular
angina
or vasospastic angina? So now I will be referred to a specialist of there choice that deals with this condition. Meanwhile I've come home in severe pain and still struggling.

Bad news at the doctors...
Last night as soon as I lay down I noticed a stronger than usual chest pain on he left side (I had been to the doctors the day before and it was suspected that this was indigestion). I rang 111 and after an assessment they said that I should see a doctor within 12 hours. The pain seemed to diminish when

Pericarditis
? Pericarditis Hello everyone! Just thought I would see if anyone has had a similar experience. I had an Ablation for Atrial Flutter on Valentine’s Day! All went well until I my chest started aching. My GP thought it was Angina and gave me a GTN spray. Two days later I thought I was having a heart attack
