Update since my A+E visit Saturday
So here I am with a dull ache over my chest that is there all day most days and wakes me and leaves me feeling vulnerable all day not knowing if this is my
microvascular
angina
or part of the course of pneumonia?

A possibly interesting publication revealing 10-fold increase in inflammatory molecule in microvascular angina patients.
My “Google Scholar Alerts” have notified me of a possibly interesting abstract relating to the physiology of
microvascular
angina
(MVA): https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/abs/10.1161/atvb.39.suppl_1.348 The abstract shows that the tested MVA patients had elevated levels of a number of inflammatory molecules

Angina and af - help please!
Had my ablation three years ago now, and have had occasional small relatively insignificant bouts of af since. I have to be careful not to get dehydrated as that is a definite trigger. This hot weather doesn't help! I woke in the early hours of this morning with a strange pain on the left side of my

angina

Tilt Table Test
I now have left ventricular systolic dysfunction and
angina
symptoms without blockages, so possible
microvascular
angina
, and continue to struggle with breathlessness, heavy chest and pain down left arm on any exertion, along with intermittent episodes of suddenly feeling I’m going to pass out.

Microvascular angina? Is it worth getting a second opinion?
I've diagnosed myself with
microvascular
angina
, which neither my GP or any of the Cardiologists seem to have heard of..... ! I am due to speak to my GP tomorrow. What should I say/ask for? Is it worth trying to get a second opinion? Can anything be done about M.A. anyway?

Vasospastic angina and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction
Has anyone with
microvascular
angina
developed heart failure with preserved ejection fraction? I worry that my shortness of breath and occasional ankle swelling is pointing to this.

Unexplained Chest Pains/Palpitations
I'm thinking I could have Prinzmetal
angina
or
microvascular
angina
but the doctor's mostly assume it's anxiety. They are just treating the symptoms. The pain and feeling is real, but I'm stuck as I don't know what to do next. Should I suck up my pain or pursue another doctor?

Parachute jump
I'm looking to do a Parachute jump and was wondering if it's still a good idea with
Angina
. Or should I say
microvascular
angina
/Coronary artery spasm. I'm on the usual medication and have ok days (few and far between) and really bad days!

Not sure what’s wrong
After reading about
Microvascular
angina
it sounds like I have it but if it’s difficult to diagnose or cardiologists refuse to acknowledge it, where do I go from here?? Any advice would be grateful

DOBUTANINE STRESS ECHOCARDIOGRAM
HI having this stress test done tomorrow to see if I have
microvascular
angina
. Has anybody had this test and more importantly did it show up the presence of
microvascular
angina
? I have reason to believe that this type of angina is very hard to diagnose. Many thanks all

MVD angina
I’m a fit and healthy 49 yr old female with suspected
microvascular
disease and a pacemaker. I suffer from
angina
daily that I’ve been trying to manage through diet and exercise. It’s helped but I still suffer daily. Ironically, I work in the health care field as an RD in Canada.

Peace at last, I spoke too soon.
I posted “peace at last” on being in persistent AF well controlled, how soon our fortunes change. On Wednesday I was able to enjoy a brisk walk around 4 football pitches as usual, the next day I was so dyspneaic I can hardly move from room to room, it’s really scary. I am on Bisoprolol 3.75 mg and Flecainide

Chest worse after eating?
I’ve recently found that I get more chest pain and chest tightness and a fluttery chest when I’ve eaten a meal or something. Is this something to do with anxiety or something else as I’ve never experienced this from eating before.
