I've just seen the gynaecologist who has put me on Microgynon and an idu. Does anyone know if this works??
She kindly told me that if this doesn't work then there is nothing else she is able to do. I hope this is not going to be the case, but under the circumstances I'm not feeling all that confident!!

BLEEDING IN BETWEEN PEROID AND PAIN. HAS MY OP BEEN UNSUCCESSFUL?
I felt like the op worked and I also was told to take my
microgynon
pill continually in order to keep the endo at bay. I had a break through period last week and I was told to allow my body to come on my period.

Worried that my nurse gave me the wrong information/didn't inform me correctly?
Okay, so I've been on
Microgynon
30ED for the past three years or so, and I've always gone to my local GP/Sexual health clinic to pick them up.

I am about to go on the pill for the first time and I have been prescribed Microgynon 30. Is this a good pill when you have Endometriosis?
I am 28 year old with Endometriosis. I have two cysts however I did not have a laparoscopy for an accurate diagnosis. I had two years of bad painful periods however they have improved with change in diet (no alcohol or caffeine) and exercise. I would like to start taking the pill to ensure that my cysts

Hi all, I'm new to the site, but was diagnosed in Feb 2003 with Endo. I've always controlled it with Microgynon contraceptive pill, but
Was told 3 weeks ago by my Endocrinologist (for adrenal problems) to come off the pill as my cortisol levels are high and the pill could be contributing to this. I'm 3 weeks pill free and in the most uncomfortable burning pain in my lower right abdomen. I've actually spent today in A&E with suspected

Had pains on and off for 7years, however since October been in so much pain everyday! Why is this? When will it end? Worn out! Fed up! Help!
Pains come and go, pains seem to come either few days before my period would be due or few days after (I'm on
microgynon
back to back) pain can last for just a few days up to 3 weeks, feels like sharp stabbing pains, I'm usually doubled up in pain and when it's so bad I end up in hospital needing morphine

If the mini pill (cerelle) doesn't suppress your cycle and stop ovulation, can it be any treatment at all for endometriosis?
I had to come off the combined pill as a precaution after experiencing a visual disturbance (no headache) - I had been on
microgynon
for 10 years after surgery for an endometriotic cyst. I had no problems at all for 10 years on this pill and I took very few breaks.

Pain has returned after lap
, and then to
microgynon
on a tri cycle. Although I only have periods every three months I am still in awful pain. I rely on my hot water bottle so much! I have to go back to the gynae in May, what do you think there next step will be? I am only 23, I have heard this is young to have endo.

Stopped microgynon seven months ago and still not had a period.
Been to docs twice but not had any help from them. My periods were regular before starting pill 16 years ago. Just wondered if anyone had a similar experience as I'm feeling a bit worried to say the least.
