Hi ladies. I have been stranded in Portugal since March 14th after coming for a 10 day break to my partners villa. It’s lovely here....but. There’s always a but isn’t there? I finished chemo in December and was hoping to go on a Parp but my CA125 went up and was given Letrozole. My scan was inconclusive although my oncologist thought she saw something. I’ve just spoken to her on the phone and of course she can’t advise me what to do as she doesn’t know what is happening with me without blood test & scans. We hoped to get a flight in May but it looks like it won’t be until July. I am now not sure whether I should stay until July or try and get home another way. I’m feeling well and as I say it is lovely and feels safe away from the Coronavirus in the U.K. I feel worried travelling back but am wondering if I am being reckless with my health staying here.....

Hi. Portugal sounds lovely! Can you get a CA 125 test there so you’ll have more information to go on? Then you’ll know how urgent it is to get a scan and possibly start treatment. If the CA 125 is okay you can relax a bit.
Hi , I agree I would try and get a test there and then make a decision (if it’s a good indicator for you?)
On a flippant note, can think of worse places to be stranded 😃 but seriously , I hope you can get sorted x
Get your tests done there while you still can once brexit is finished you wo t be covered. Portugal has fine heth care
Dont wait til you are home
I too would get test there. See what it would cost. Best wishes, Liz
