Vitamin B6/Pyridoxine
For the last few weeks I've been supplementing B vitamins, namely B Complex,
methylcobalamin
and pyridoxine. My concern is that my pyridoxine intake is reaching very high levels (currently over 4,000 mg/day).

Hypothyroid with low vitamins B12 and D
I began these straight away (
Methylcobalamin
) but within a week my leg/foot pain returned. I therefore began taking 1000mcg daily sub-lingually but my symptoms have not improved.

Cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin. what's the difference.
I have been taking
methylcobalamin
but I read on this site that a lot of people have been prescribed cyanocobalamin from doctors. I have read that

GP visit following B12 retest
Also the Solgar B12 is
Methylcobalamin
whereas the B12 from the GP is Cyanocobalamin? What is the difference? I am sure I have read somewhere on this site that the M......is better than the C....... Your thoughts would be appreciated.

What is wrong with me
I was given
methylcobalamin
to begin with and self injected every other day until no further improvement. The methyl didn't do a lot for me, so in May 2012 I switched to hydroxy (which is what I'd had at the GP surgery) recommended to Goldpharma by other sufferers who also self inject.

New here... can I ask for some guidance, please?
I have decided to take b12 orally, and have bought some 1000mcg b12
methylcobalamin
. Is one of these a day enough, or should I be starting on a higher dose? Also, how long approx will it take to be effective? I am starting to get a bit desperate... Thanks for any help you can give!

B12/Folate/Iron deficiencies
The B12 is low in range anyway and would have supplemented anyway but she had taken 1000mcg
methylcobalamin
the day before the test. I told her not too but she did anyway as was more tired than usual - she hasn't taken any since.

What kind of vitamin B12 with folic acid?
I'm going to take B12 anyway, especially as I'm a vegetarian, but I just found out there's 4 kinds -
Methylcobalamin
, Cyanocobalamin, Hydroxocobalamin, and Adenosylcobalamin
.

Stressed over macrocytic anemia HELP
Maybe we should supplement with sublingual
methylcobalamin
? Any advice or reccomendations are appreciated. We are just not happy to have the bandaid effect without a diagnosis and are willing to trial anything in the meantime.
