I am confused about Methylcobalamin and it’s conversion
I am taking
Methylcobalamin
and supplementing with adenosylcobalamin . I keep reading that
Methylcobalamin
converts into adenosylcobalamin but I also see lots of posts that say it doesn’t . Any thoughts ?

Different types of B12
My body doesn’t seem to be absorbing the hydroxycobalamin injections I am receiving and I am wondering if
methylcobalamin
injections would suit me better. The hydroxy stays very high in my bloodstream like 4,000 and I still feel washed out. Any comments on this please?

PA in the United States - order Methylcobalamin online!
I just took my second dose (1mg) of
methylcobalamin
today. I sincerely thank everyone here for teaching me the difference - I wouldn't have known to question the *kind* of B12 I was given from my pharmacist.

I am in a quandary about B12 - Igennus Super B complex
Now comes the problem: even half of one of these tablets will provide me with 225 mcg B12
methylcobalamin
and 100 mcg folate. I would like to stop taking the multi and replace with the Igennus B complex but wonder if just half a tablet daily will send my B12 sky high.

Folate and pernicious anemia
If you inject
Methylcobalamin
twice a month do you need to do the cofactors only on the days you inject or everyday? Also just how much folate is sufficient?

Intrinsic factor
I am supplementing 5mg of methyl b12 sublingual daily. Will this affect the results if an intrinsic factor test? I decided to supplement myself after having low normal b12 238. Since supplementing the numbness and tingling has improved greatly. However I am still very off balance when walking. Any advice

methylcobalamin
-adenosylcobalamin?sqr=Sublingual%20b12& So was wondering is it good to take the above.

DOES INJECTABLE B12 HAVE TO BE SHIPPED REFRIGERATED?
I'm in the U.S. and I've been buying injectable
methylcobalamin
from a U.S. supplier. It contains alcohol as a preservative which makes it sting when injected. I'm wondering if the B12 that many forum members get from Germany is shipped refrigerated?

B12 mystery
I then started taking high daily dose 5000mcg
methylcobalamin
and occasionally methyfolate and other Bs and TMG for several months. I checked my homocysteine levels and they were significantly lowered (9) yet my b12 levels did not even change and my symptoms remain largely the same.

My story of self assessment.
myself were apparent after a prolong life trauma or illness tended to be linked to deficiencies, so that is when i tailored my already good diet to one that encouraged the absorption and utilization of B12 and D3, at the same time taking B12 tabs using B12 patches and eventualy self injecting B12

Which form of B12 is best to SI?
Also from what I have read it seems that the
methylcobalamin
is the best absorbed B12 and this is the only form they use in Japan to treat B12 deficiency. I know it doesn’t last as long in the body but is this an issue if you SI? Thanks in advance.
