I have seen many threads here with people asking where they can safely purchase methylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin online. I tried the German location everyone recommended and even the one in Australia (I live in the US). Lo and behold, I found a proper compounding pharmacy in my backyard! And their facility looks like a hadron collider!
Check out ArchwayApothecary.com . The staff was incredibly helpful and amazing. They answered my questions and made sure I had enough syringes and needles to last me for several months. I told them that I had read in this forum that many of us were challenged to find a trustworthy, reliable source for B12 and they said that with a valid prescription, they can ship B12 anywhere!
I have previously taken cyanocobalamin but gave up after a few months because I never felt any different - let alone better. I just took my second dose (1mg) of methylcobalamin today. I sincerely thank everyone here for teaching me the difference - I wouldn't have known to question the *kind* of B12 I was given from my pharmacist.

Only problem is that some people cannot get a prescription from their doctor for harmless B12, and they need to source from a country that does not insist on a prescription ..
Thanks for the recommendation, but I think the issue for most of us, as wedgewood indicates, is that our doctors won’t provide the prescription to begin with. With a prescription, it’s easy enough to just go the pharmacy and fill the B12 order. The obstacle arises when trying to get the vitamin without a prescription because our physicians don’t fully understand the condition. That’s where the non-prescription online options become essential.
Just curious, if your doctor gave you a b12 prescription why won’t he prescribe methyl if that’s your preference?
