Stearic Acid & Oleic Acid
"Based on preliminary observations and the growing evidence that visceral fat is related to

COVID
hi everyone. My parent was diagnosed with covid on Wednesday. On Friday it was going to be the first pet scan since the MBC diagnosis in May of 2022 after starting Ibrance and letrozole. The symptoms of covid were very mild and I think getting better each day. I am so nervous for the new rescheduled

Allergic reaction to Fulvestrant?
Oh oh!! Got my second loading dose of Fulvestrant today, first dose given two weeks ago. By the time I got home from the doctor's office I had a flat red rash on my behind about the size of two quarters, about 5 inches away from where the shot was given (right side). I didn't think much about it..

Tumor Markers
Hello everyone! First post here but have been reading a lot and found it very helpful. Mets diagnosed back in March of this year. CA 15-3 was tested in my initial work up for restage. My markers have not been tested again. Was wondering what is being followed by other oncologists and how often they

Bone Biopsy Concern
Hello, I have lobular carcinoma metastatic breast cancer stage 4. My tumor markers have been on the rise for the last several months. I have had several scans including a bone scan and so far everything has been negative. My oncologist wants to do a bone biopsy. I am scared to death to do it.

Genomic testing of the primary tumor, or a metastasis? What Gens or ARN or what is to be tested ?
I am mCRPC my urologist wants to biopsy the prostate to have data for immunotherapy if it suits me. Pembrolizumab, Olaparib, whatever I have read about TILs, and wonder if anywhere it is available, as if I am biopsied, there will be samples to work with, eventually. Is there a list of Genes, ADN

I am curious. I am now going to be put on this since it spread to my liver and her treatment of tamoxifen and afinitor did not work bc my scan last week showed it has continued to spread in my liver. She mentioned I would be taking 8 pills per day broken down into four pills twice per day. And that

Ibrance and faslodex no longer working
I’ve been on Ibrance and faslodex for 15 mo. Everything was going great and I had few side effects, no back pain. Then I got Covid. Back pain started creeping up on me. My last PET scan showed Mets spreading and growing larger. One in my liver. Please tell me what meds I can try next. I’m 72 and

In November 2020 I was diagnosed with brain
metastasis
in total there were 12 tumours, 2 were surgically removed and I was referred to an oncologist. Histology showed that the primary tumour was in my lung.

Xgeva or Zometa, which is better?
I have been on Xgeva for over two years because I have
metastasis
on my bones. My MO suggests that I could stop the Xgeva. Please, I have some questions, and I need help. If I stop the Xgeva can I start Zometa? Is there any difference between Xgeva and Zometa?

Treatment options for metastatic prostate cancer?
Surgery was scheduled for March but I insisted on a PSMA PET Scan and they found the
metastasis
, and the tumors were too large to remove so thats when they started this treatment. We have been seeing an advanced prostate cancer Dr in the urology clinic in Tulsa, Ok.

What next after Ibrance? - Verzenio, Kisquali, Xeloda & more
Dear friends, After 1.5 years on Ibrance/Fulvestrant and a very short time in NED status (great while it lasted...) my cancer reappeared this spring. I've just had an axillary lymph node dissection, removing all the known cancerous spots, and now the question is what will be my meds going forward.

Please those who were given Xeloda for tumors in the liver that keep growing.
The tamoxifen and afinitor I was on for two months has done nothing. I had my CT scan six weeks early on Tuesday, read it on my portal on Wednesday and today met with my onco. She said the last option is Xeloda (capche.....(generic name). I told 8 pills, 4 twice a day for one week and then one week
