Menopur

Medication adjustment adding in Fyremadel and Menopur to the first round's Ovaleap for stims, resulted in 5 eggs. With two immature and 3 to undergo ICSI. My partners sample has always been good but on the day it was a bit low on numbers - unexplained and unexpected - so the clinic chose ICSI.

round, these additional ones look scary as they are proper syringes, small needles but I need to actually make up the Menopur as it's a dry kind of powder in a bottle.

The clinic has suggested starting the cycle with clomid and then if I respond they will add menopur. I've always had gonal & menopur or just menopur. Has anyone had a cycle with clomid that worked? Thank you for your feedback.

I’ll be starting on Burserelin (Suprecur) then Overleap then Menopur. I’d love to hear of different peoples experiences on these drugs. Thank you

I had an egg collection 2 years ago, and got 10 eggs on a 225 menopur dose, now they’ve upped me to 450 ovaleap and I’m just a mixed back of emotions, totally worried about how ill respond and what ifs… My friends are getting pregnant so easily with their 2nd or 3rd babies, and to be honest I just feel

They then gave me a new prescription, but no new protocol, other than 300 iu of gonal f from Day 3 with 150 iu of menopur starting day 8. This would leave me 1 day short of gonal f, but my coordinator wouldn't give me any help, so I've had to guess the dose I should take. Yes I know insane.

I've completed 3 ICSI short protocols (current AMH 1.7pmol) - Round 1 300 IU Menopur, Round 2 375IU Menopur, and Round 3 150IU Pergoveris. R1 and R3 resulted in 1 frozen embryo each (19 days of stims and no fertilisation in R2!).

This is hopefully a stupid question but I’m currently taking gonal-f and menopur at the start of a short cycle. I’ve not really had any side effects other than a slight ache/cold feeling in my lower abdomen. Does the lack of symptoms suggest follicle / egg stimulation is not working?

Hello everyone I hope your journey is going well I'm on day 3 of menopur (225) 3x 75 iu injections Did anyone feel anything after injecting? Also did you just inject on one side of your tummy or switch sides? First ivf round so new to everything Thankyou for any replies 💕

I am about to touch 42 and my clinic has advised me to try Chlomid with Menopur and then transfer in a frozen cycle. I have high AMH and they can see 12-13 antral follicle count in the monitoring cycle scan. I have heard Chlomid can be hit and miss.

Whilst the outcome is more import then the cost Menopur will be 500.00 cheaper and the clinic initially said Ovaleap but i could have Menopur. The nurse i spoke with said there isn't a difference but as Oaleap was first suggested as my treatment plan i worried to chose something different.

My meds have changed 150 menopur - double first few days double Fyremadel I’m also down reg this time. Any advice or stories more than welcome. Thanks in advance

He said higher dose of menopur, double trigger and aim for freeze all in order to push me as far as they could. Had reservations going with NHS hospital but given that they gave us our daughter, we went back.

I've started Bemfola and Menopur as well this evening. So that's three injections in my belly every night, running out of space with all these spots! Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi ladies I’ve been on an estrogen priming protocol I down regulated on the pill and Syneral for 21 days and following that have been stimming for 26 days on a cocktail of Saizen, Gonal F and Menopur, yielding only 3 follicles only two at 17 the other at 13. Anyone else stimmed for a long period?

Hi, Im just starting my ivf round number 2 from scratch and this time they are putting me on 450 ovaleap instead of menopur. I just wondered how people found it in terms of side effects etc? I feel really nervous and just generally anxious about the whole stims process 😞 Xx

Hello, I am on day 6 of stimulation with menopur (300) for IVF. I was supposed to start orgalutran (0.25mg) tomorrow morning, but I made a mistake and started it this morning. I'm trying to contact my clinic but they are closed today. Has anyone else made this mistake before? What did you do?
