Hi, first time poster. My son started school in September (Reception) and wasn’t potty trained at that point - we had tried numerous time - absolutely not interested. We cracked the potty training in the October half term and he went back to school in pants - there was the occasional wee accident

Indeterminate liver lesion
I had an MRI 3 months ago that showed a 6cmx5cm lesion. I had a follow up 3 months later with eovist that showed same size, heterogenous "indeterminate lesion, possible adenoma". No one seems to know what this is and I am freaking out. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do I do a biopsy? Straight

Guidelines
Hi I'm wondering if there are guidelines in the UK regarding TSH numbers by which a doctor is advised treatment should be an option? I did my first private blood test in 2017 and the doctors remarks were to see my GP regarding treatment for an underactive thyroid. I was so pleased to finally have clarification

Good news
I said recently in my post that I'm pleased not to dwell on the numbers and keep everything in perspective. But I still appreciate good news when it comes. This week I had a call from oncologist largely because she's liaising with my dentist about dental work. Basically she was telling me it was worth

Hi all, I posted on here little while ago about my mum having total abdo hysterectomy for ovarian cancer. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery. a 10cm cyst was removed which at the time, they assumed it was cancer. We went to her results and biopsy results yesterday. We were all extremely shocked

Recovery from colds/flu whilst on Adalimumab
Hello,I was diagnosed with Crohn's 18 months ago and have been on Adalimumab for the last 12 months. In that time I have managed to avoid colds/flu until a couple of weeks ago. Have felt quite unwell and presently doesn't seem to be ending. My question is really to other people who have a reduced immune

Terrys nails
hi there, I’m just wondering if anyone with PBC has experience with Terrys nails? I have it on 5 of my finger nails (2 on one hand and 3 on another). My liver bloods are normal just now except for GGT (112) and my last fibroscan was 5.7 with CAP score of 233. Both AMA and ANA positive but my hepatoligist

adult son with PTSD
My son is 28 and suffered sexual abuse at the age of 4, at the hands of his cousin who was 13 at the time. I didn’t find out about it until my son was 13. By then I was a single parent. I didn’t know what to do. Now, because I didn’t do the right thing then apparently, I am being blamed for my son -

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

is this hemorrhoids or should I be right to be worried
I’m a 31 year old female. I went to the bathroom yesterday and after a.. sizeable bowel movement noticed some blood in the toilet. This has happened before so I wasn’t too concerned, but I just went to the restroom again today and after I flushed the first time I thought I noticed blood. This was a normal
