My erythrocyte reading is off the chart low, 4.48, but my gastroenterologist makes nothing of it, but it reflects my liver condition, yes?
I am an 81 year old male diagnosed a year ago with Stage 3; on 500 mg Ursodiol 2 x daily, my blood results have returned to normal, except for the erythrocytes.

Is Bisphosphonates treatment like Zoledronic Acid 5 mg injection good or bad for bone fractures?
The lower denture of my mother aged 79 years does not fit properly because of gum recession. The maxillofacial surgeon in India recommended her denture implantation. But when I told the doctor that she has taken the 3rd injection of Stoplos One (zoledronic acid) in India on 28.09.2019 and the 1st injection

Can Zoledronic acid 5 mg injection and Densumab 60 mg injection be taken in a month's gap for osteoporosis.
Should my mother go forward with two different injections i.e. Zoledronic acid and Denosumab in a month' gap? Or else, skip the two injections to be given in 1st Septembe 2020 (olimab)and 1st October 2020 (Stoplos One) in order to do lower jaw denture implantation by a maxillofacial surgeon. My mother

Waiting for endo diagnosis.. I feel women know more than drs. Advice and stories welcome :)
Hi all, I'm new to the community. I've issues like painful sex, heavy periods, illnesses without an explanation for as long as I can remember. Last year I had biopsy after previously finding CIN3 and received a letter back stating 'the sampl has shown changes consistent with a condition called endometriosis

Another problem!
I misread which run to do next. Thinking the run number was the one below the one in the blue circle when actually it must have been the the one in the blue circle so I missed out a couple of runs and then found myself having suddenly to have to run for 5 minutes! It nearly killed me but Sarah said that

Decisions decisions
Had DEXA today and not good news (knew it wouldn’t be with 5 compression fractures already. Fracture risk with no treatment at least 24% over next 10 years. Consultant gave me choice of: Alendronate weekly but feels it’s not a good option as I already need a PPI just to take Naproxen Denosumab (Prolia

Alendronic acid
Hi I have recently been diagnosed with osteoporosis due to a dexa scan result. I am starting on Alendronic Acid tomorrow morning. I know that taking Turmeric will not help with building new bones , but ive been told how good it is for lots of other things. I asked a lovely asian nurse what to take it

normal side effects??
My mum has had small nose bleeds, yesterday morning and today and has a strange metallic smell to her urine - does this sound familiar to anyone? She had got down to 20mg Pred and then a flair up happened - the only warning was a bit of tiredness then further - sudden, visual loss -she was

Prednisone & Bone loss
I have been taking Prednisone and Abiraterone for about 1 year. I just had a bone density scan and am told I now have osteoporosis. From what I read, it's a side effect of Prednisone. Any feedback on what the lowest useful dose can be of Prednisone? I.e., They are proposing I take > "initiate Alendronate

I went to my primary care yesterday thinking I had strep or the flu. Everything came back negative. He was unable to treatment for anything. My throat is so sore
