Total Gastrectomy check up.
Yesterday I attended an appointment at the hospital some four hours journey from home with the surgeon that performed a Total Gastrectomy on me a little over nine years ago. The appointment was at his request and I had not seen him over the pat fours years. Now he wishes to see me on a yearly basis.

I have been given the option of lumpectomy with radiation and
mastectomy
. Both I need hormone therapy. I am pre menopausal. How did those in this same situation decide? How did you handle to anxiety of not knowing or wondering about it coming back? Any input is greatly appreciated!!!

Thoughts on IVF success?
Just read an old post on here which suggests ladies who have first time success usually don't have problems themselves and is much more likely to lie with the guys. Started to get me worried. My OH has 2 children from his marriage then had a vasectomy. He has since had it reversed which has been successful

mastectomy
on my right breast, chemo and am currently taking tamoxifen.

Confused about where or even if to start on an IVF journey
So I started thinking about Children 6 years ago when I was 37. We decided after lots of discussion to adopt. We went down that route but my partners daughter, gave us a terrible reference. She has never met me (her choice) and is mentally ill but apparently that still means we were rejected. Even though

Are there alternatives to an epididymectomy?
I've had repeated episodes of left sided testicular pain due epididmytis. My urologist clears it up with Celebrex and/or antibiotics. I had a vasectomy in November 2018. The pain started up again 5 weeks ago. I'm on both medicines. The doc mentioned an epididymectomy. I'm wondering about the procedure

Post Vasectomy Sexual Response Weaker
Hey guys, first time writing a comment on a forum like this. I am 40 years old and just had a close ended vasectomy 15 days ago, the procedure went fine and I had the usual post op pain that is almost all gone. My problem and fear is on my sexual response: it is really difficult to get a erection,

Side effects of radiotherapy on patients with SLE
I've now been given the choice of a
mastectomy
(drastic given my tumour was pea sized) or basically take a chance with the radiotherapy. Nothing had been mentioned prior to this and neither my surgeons or breast care nurse were aware of any possible complications.

I took my first ounce today and my old
mastectomy
scars are itching like crazy! Itching has always been a sign of healing, so praying this pushes the last of the cancer away!

Old member checking in!
She got married last weekend and is having a
mastectomy
tomorrow! These things certainly help focus the mind. (Photo attached was taken on Saturday...I'm second on the left standing on the bride's right). She's totally got this and I know will rock her 'new boob'!

No Sperm after Vasectomy Reversal!
Hi all, I am new here, my partner had his VR at end of April and his semen analysis at start of the month. We got the results last week as Negative, no sperm present :( and the surgeon advised we have a second sperm analysis in 6 weeks, this is now booked for end of September. We are obviously gutted
