Vasectomy
I recently had the procedure,10 days ago, and feel I've had two experiences in one. So drop your pants, lie on the table legs apart. No problem. Bit of cold spray, then injection into scrotum. Slightly painful but not too bad. Then incision, tube on right testicle pulled out and snipped.(yes you do feel

3DCRT Vs IMRT after Mastectomy
He also says IMRT is not recommended for
Mastectomy
cases as it would result in esophagitis. The first PET CT indicated positive internal mammary node. I am not sure what the benefit of RT without covering Internal mammary nodes despite knowing that it was positive in first PET CT.

IVF/ICSI Abroad??
We are unable to have IVF/ICSI on the NHS as my husband has had failed vasectomy reversal. Private treatment here in the UK seems unattainable for us due to cost. Has anyone had IVF/ICSI abroad? I've been looking at Poland, Czech Republic and Madrid. I was just looking for anyone who has had fertility

Breast Implants possibly the cause of my Connective Tissue Disease!
Having already gone through breast cancer in 2012, bi-lateral
mastectomy
and reconstruction; and now having a disease of the immune system, I can tell you that all my hairs are standing.

Vasectomy and PCa: a 38-year nationwide cohort.
New Danish study below. I have been following the vasectomy-PCa link for 15 years. At diagnosis my vasectomy was already 25 years in the past. It seems to me that the cancer link to vasectomy has been deemed to be unacceptable. What would happen if men throughout the world refused vasectomies? One

Struggling
Do any of you regret your
mastectomy
I feel this is what I should do. It’s not like I just woke up one day and said hmm I think I’ll have my breasts taken off. It’s not been an easy decision.

Mammograms
I’ve had a partial
mastectomy
of my right breast, chemo and radiation in 2005. It metastasized to both lungs in 2016. I had massive chemo again. Now I’m on Letrozole and Ibrance and everything is stable. But I wanted to get a mammogram/sonogram since I have breast tissue.

Need some moral support please
When I was first diagnosed stage 2 with
mastectomy
in 2004, I prayed I’d see our daughter through high school. When I was diagnosed stage 3 in 2014, her first year of college, I was thrilled to watch her graduate last June before my latest dx.

How do I know
I went through a lumpectomy followed by
mastectomy
, 6 months of chemo, 6 weeks of radiation and 5 years of Letrozole. It’s a 200-mile round trip for treatment. In 2017 I lost my Medicaid coverage. I now have insurance through my work, but my deductible is $5,000 and $500 a month in premiums.

I had an ablation about 2 plus years ago at Bristol Royal Infirmary which seemed to be successful until I had a
mastectomy
in January 2018 since then I've had a few lengthy (2 weeks) episodes of AF. My local A&E is scary, like a third world country!

Should I stop prolia?
Have been on prolia injections for 5 years since breast cancer and double
mastectomy
followed by 3 months of chemo. Next Prolia Due 7/2019. Wasn’t informed of possible side effects but have been researching prolia past 9 months due to feeling like “crap” with no obvious explanation.

Immediate Reconstruction Worries
I had a bilateral
mastectomy
on 03/14/2019 with immediate reconstruction of cohesive silicone implants. My implants are tight, pinching on one side and the other side I can feel the implant in on the side of my rib/chest wall. I need to note I am a obese female. My implants also hang low.

Its Back !!!
This time I am booked in for a
mastectomy
on the 9th April and to say I am terrified is an understatement . I'm being brave and jovial in front of my partner and family and friends but inside is tearing me apart .Hoping for some encouraging comfort from others who have went through the same .

Latest outcome from Lu177 treatments
I had no brothers, but had two sisters, one died from Oa, other survived after double
mastectomy
. My father's mother died maybe from Oa and dad dies from melanoma, so plenty cancer in my family on my fathers side of family.

Dumb question?
Has anyone, or some one you know, turned down curative total gastrectomy when offered? I know it is the only hope of a cure.

Life after mastectomy
I'm looking for this who had a
mastectomy
and can share best bras, sports bras, swimsuits, and breast forms. I had one breast removed in Dec 2017. I do not care for the silicon prosthetic I was given. Bras do not stay in place.
