Actemra twist
I had a left side
mastectomy
so I can only use my right arm for blood pressures, injections, blood draws and IVs. Veins are not holding up too well after all that’s been done. Looking into weekly Actemra injections that I can give myself.

In praise of Ibrance and Letrozole
I had 6 courses of chemo, very extensive
mastectomy
, 34 radiation, then 6 more chemo. I was clear of what all doctors said would be terminal. Had lots of physical therapy and crying. 24 years later, in 2016 I felt a pain down my right leg.

To be on Ibrance or not?
I had estrogen type cancer in left breast in 2009 and had a double
mastectomy
and chemo. Then for 5 years was on Letrozole. Then 3 years later it came back. My oncologist back in CA put me on Ibrance after surgery and radiation - Ibrance 2018 started it.

Diagnosis of Hughes no longer relevant
I’ve had it once, plus a
mastectomy
. I was a bit surprised to find my old
mastectomy
scar covered in a huge bruise of irregular shape, only slight pain and not caused by trauma!!! Health Practitioner was baffled but also convinced it was essential for me to continue taking the Warfarin.

Oral History of Vasectomy - Interviewee Request
Hello, I hope it's ok for me to post here, and I hope you're all doing well given the current circumstances. I am a PhD researcher at the University of Strathclyde, and I research the history of vasectomy in Britain, looking at things like why it became more popular, how attitudes towards it changed

I’ve had a double
mastectomy
and a complete hysterectomy, including my ovaries. My first treatment was Ibrance and Letrozole, which I had great success with and no side effects. I was NED for almost two years. Last July, I had spots show up on my liver. Talk about the wind leaving my sails!

Cystectomy Advice
Hi all, I finally have a surgery date to get rid of my ovarian cyst! I’m very pleased, as it’s 8.6cm and making daily life painful to navigate. They’ve also said they’ll look for and treat any endo they find (still hoping to be diagnosed) while they’re in there. I’ve got two weeks to prepare, any advice

Post vasectomy pain syndrome
Nearly 6 years ago I had a vasectomy, from day 1 I've had debilitating pain so bad that even strong pain killers such as pregabaline and cocodamol didn't even touch it. I'm now on morphine patch due to addiction to codeine. I'm now hoping to have the local anaesthetic in target area. It has pretty much

Just circumcised 7 days ago. Painful erections and stitches stabbing my penis and very annoying.
I was just circumcised one week ago today. I also had a umbilical hernia repair and vasectomy at the same time. So needless to say I was a little sore. However i feel like it's going okay a week in. However i have some concerns. First I have been getting multiple erections throughout the day and night

More surgery for an ovary that isn’t there
Over a year and a half since my hysterectomy and I’ve just been given a consent form for an oopherctomy with tube removal or cystectomy. Only I’m not supposed to have any ovaries or tubes :( there’s a cyst growing from somewhere and ever though I’ve had all the scans they still can’t tell where. Really

Cystectomy
Hi all, I’m having a cystectomy in a couple of weeks time to remove endometriomas from both ovaries. Was just wondering if anyone knew the recovery time for this operation? I’m still working from home at the moment so assume I could be working again after a couple of days? Thanks, Sarah

Glad to be part of an understanding group
Began in 2004 with bilateral
mastectomy
and TAC chemo. Then in 2014 tumor markers high pet scan showed bone meets. Faslodex added to Arimidex and now Ibrance is replacing Arimidex. Sometimes I feel that instead of the side effects I'd rather live my life free of chemo. But pushing on.

Impact of Vasectomy on the Development and Progression of PCa: Preclinical Evidence
New study below [1]. A post on the possible influence of vasectomy on PCa development might seem like navel gazing at this point, but the subject continues to interest me. When the first "bad news" about vasectomy was published long ago, the reaction was unexpected. Rather than warn men about to be
