mastectomy now tamoxifen
I’m 48 and just had a double
mastectomy
almost 4 weeks ago. My bc tumor was 1.2 cm and ER/PR positive and HER 2 negative with an onco type score of 21 and nymph nodes were negative. I was hoping I was done with treatment, but was told I need to take tamoxifen.

Reconstruction after Mastectomy
I was wondering if there's anyone who's had a
mastectomy
with reconstruction and regretted it. I'm 43 MBC and there's a mass in tge same breast they've been watching but I think it's time to have the
mastectomy
as a preventative measure. Anyone willing to share their experiences?

preventative mastectomy
Good afternoon, Not been on here for a while , I was wondering if anyone here with the BRCA gene has had a preventative
mastectomy
, if so how was your experience? Did you have any regrets? We’re you happy with the surgery? What type ,if any reconstruction did you have?

Invasive Breast Cancer her 2 P+ E+1 lymph node Metastatic spread after chemo & Mastectomy
I was just wondering in the letter i received after the
mastectomy
it’s saying Metastatic spread to the lymph node. The word Metastatic is scaring me . Can you share your stories or put my mind at ease. Does this mean the other lymph nodes will have cancer?

Good morning
I had a
mastectomy
, chemo etc and have returned to work .. teaching. . Two years on , where I thought I’d done a good job at keeping on track , keeping fit, I have developed lymphoedema in righ arm. The clinic are unsure if it’s scleroderma linked or post
mastectomy
( I did have some nodes taken) .

Mastectomies
She has had three oncologists dealing with her case thus far and they were of the opinion that she should have a double
mastectomy
in view of her BRCA status.

Kisqali added to Letrazole
Had a double
mastectomy
on 5/2023 and radiation. Onco and mammaprint said “no chemo benefit”. 26 lymph nodes taken out and 2 positive. Now oncologist wants to add Kisqali to my treatment regimen even though I am “cancer free”. I am sure it is due to the size of my tumor and lymph node involvement.

Hi! I'm new and excited to meet others and learn about your journey
Had a
mastectomy
. Went on tamoxifen for 2 years, then quit because it made me feel miserable. No chemo. In 2022, I was once again diagnosed with breast cancer, but this time metastatic. What a shock! It spread to my lymph nodes and lungs.

Hi all! Just thought I’d pop my head up and say hello and that I’m still here. 🎉 As I’m now 6 years 😱 post OC treatment I’ve taken the plunge and am having the operation to remove my potentially life threatening boobs! (I found out post OC that I’m BRCA 1 so have a ridiculously high chance of getting

Verzenio Monotherapy
I had a
mastectomy
and have done chemo , radiation, aromasin ,arimidex, ibrance( which actually worked well for 5 years !!), faslodex, tamoxifen and xeloda to name a few. This Verzenio is my latest. The side effects have been rough but I'm sticking with it in hopes of getting even more time.
