Marinol

Has anyone tried Marinol for RLS? If so, did it help? I keep hearing that THC helps RLS, but I live in a state where THC is illegal. Marinol is prescribed by a doctor, but it is synthetic THC. I am just wondering if it is a good replacement for the illegal stuff when it comes to RLS?

We reviewed all the meds and Wayne will continue to test oral Marinol (THC) for nausea control to see if it's less sedating than the compazine. Will see if zofran can be reprised inbetween for doses, if not, back to compazine.

She has linocane patch as well as marinol and a anti nausea patch behind her ear. She has a lot of memory issues and has trouble doing things she did every day like texting her friends. Wondering if this is normal or should I be concerned something else is going on???

i have been taking Tramquel SR or (tramadol) because this brand does not have side effects that effect me, yet today my gp has changed this to Marol 100mg. i need to find out before i see my gp on wednesday 29th, has tramquel been stopped bye nhs england? or whoever it is that stops drugs being on prescriptions

I'm not downing Marinol. It does help, and quite well. I keep it on hand and use it at times.

Marinol is synthetic THC, while Sativex is natural cannabis extract/oil heavily diluted in an alcohol solution (the presents of the alcohol actually decreases the safety of the medicine, as well as drastically limiting it's potency, and there for it's medical potential).

Two weeks ago my gp took me off targinet pain relief as it was sending me loopy. He put me on marol and kept my steroids at 20mg. It has taken that long to get into my system.
