Has anyone tried Marinol for RLS? If so, did it help? I keep hearing that THC helps RLS, but I live in a state where THC is illegal. Marinol is prescribed by a doctor, but it is synthetic THC. I am just wondering if it is a good replacement for the illegal stuff when it comes to RLS?

Marinol
Before the drug legislation in 2016 I the UK I bought a synthetic cannabinoid to see if it was possible to use it to treat my rls. Other than cause a lot of anxiety and palpitations I found nothing of use for rls. THC on the other hand is quite effective.
That said I would certainly try it. It isn't as bad as those on the grey market and if it doesn't work well then, it doesn't work. If it does work then you can rest easy at night. I'm of the belief that there are no atheists in a fox hole and I'd try any drug or treatment if I thought there was a remote chance it would work for me.
Best of luck.
If you do try it, Please let us know how it worked for you. Good luck!
I have a friend who uses it for MS, here are his comments, not mine.
It's $500/month, but my insurance covers it. It usedto be $1800 a month and then it went generic. Either way, the real stuff is cheaper.
It's the only drug that works consistently. The lack of side effects is my most important thing.
