Every single time I went to have my bloods drawn at the hospital (because of malnutrition fears) the ONLY thing coming back below normal was FOLATE and vitamin B12. When I say low, I mean borderline low nothing super fancy!

Out of curiosity, I managed to set up my NHS portal and patient access, and checked through the last couple of years of various blood tests.Now, when I was in hospital in 2022 (all linked to mistreated hypothyroidism), many blood tests showed malabsorption and malnutrition.

It got worse when I had malnutrition for 20 before I was diagnosed coeliac condition ,even then things didn't get better until I went on the Hate diet (Google Hate diet)🤔

My youngest child has pneumonia, and hasn't eaten properly for a week and therefore has dropped all his gains and is now in the severe malnutrition category. I'm really, really worried..and also feel like I'm failing him.

Hello, I am getting more worried about my husbands malnutrition. He has been referred to dietitians but that was a while back, I chased but they he’d no record of the referral so I emailed the letter and they have said he has been added to the list to be triaged.

I googled RDW to find out more and see that it is associated with anemia, malnutrition and liver disease. (Recommended action - more folate, B12 in diet.)

I read some of your replies and it opened my eyes just enough to get some things checked out....... depression..... malnutrition. So I will go on another day to get some of these things checked out. I hope that you find the answers you need

During this month I was told that I had severe malnutrition and my body hadn't been getting nutrition for years since my pancreas failed and turned to stone (calcified). Then almost daily they gave me another diagnosis of another potentialy fateful and disabling illness.
