Prolia and Blood Disorder
I am currently 61 years old. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis when I was 54. I chose Prolia because a known cancer doctor in my area told me to take that option. I took 4 shots over a two year period with no side effects. My next Dexa scan showed improvement to osteopenia. However, I developed a blood

Spiculated nodule found on right lung on post chemotherapy scan after lobectomy on left lung in December 2022.
Hello everyone, Has anyone undergone a lobectomy and four cycles of chemo to find that there is another suspicious nodule on the opposite lung. If so,what were the options?

I miss my cock. The size and appearance of my old fella was nothing remarkable. Circumcised, a tad over the average six inches when hard (I’ll admit to measuring my erection as an insecure teenager to confirm its normality), it nevertheless possessed what I’d like to consider a certain sleek elegance.A

Hearing problems
After 14 infusions of chemo over the past 2 years I am beginning to think that my hearing problems may be related. My oncologist also believes this. Awaking each morning they seem pretty clear but as the day goes I have to yawn to help clear them, which doesn’t seem to help. My right ear continues

Afinitor side effects
I have been in treatment for breast cancer since 2006 and have done the drill - lumpectomy, lymph nodes removal, chemo, radiation, herceptin, Arimidex for six years… then in 2019 a mastectomy, more hormone blockers, and three years of various combinations with Ibrance, which has sadly stopped working

I would love to say it

is this the new normal?
spent yesterday in the ER again…. My Joe has pneumonia again: this time with a partially collapsed lung. He’s had it now in April, May and June. This time they sent him home with oxygen for 90 days. When he started chemo in 2017 they said he could get 5 years. He got 3 before he had to start Zytiga

Last chance saloon or what?
My most recent PSA score went up to 9.04 from 2.45 in March, 2.14 in January 1.05 in November and it was 0.61 in August. I finished Docetaxyl chemotherapy on 7th Septemb er last year so I've only been on Prostap with prednisolone since then. My onco says he will arrange urgent bone scan and full body

Clear Cell reoccurrence update number 4
Hi everyone, hope you’re all not too bad and enjoying the lovely weather. I’ve been back to The Christie, I didn’t get on the immunotherapy trial, my CA125 wasn’t high enough would you believe! I’m not a candidate for radiotherapy either but I may be a candidate for surgery. I’ve been referred for

Has anyone returned to the first line of HT after second line failed?
Question 1: I would appreciate anyone who can share their experiences about returning to the first line of HT (Casadox) after the second line (Xtandi) failed. If so, how effective it is. I was thinking that doing ADT alternatively can stop castration resistence. If it works for all of us like going back

Cyberknife For Periaortic Lymph Nodes
I’m going to be starting RT in September for my prostate and pelvic LN mets (2). My RO doesn’t want to use EBRT on my periaortic LN mets (2), he feels like they’re to near organs. I’m thinking of Cyberknife for those mets. I’ve had chemo and I’m on Lupron and Nubeqa. My last PSA was 0.055. I’m feeling

Any coming back from this?
Here’s a summary of my father’s situation since he was diagnosed last year in May 2022. I used all of his clinical reports to create this, but you can see my previous posts as well. He’s only 60 years old today - 59 at the time of diagnosis. May 2022: Diagnosed with high burden prostate cancer (Gleason

Dull red blotches at chemo infusion site
Hoping somebody has some experience with this and can help. Eric had his 3rd docetaxel chemo Friday, and for the first time ever, developed swelling above and below infusion site maybe an hour later, after we got home. He had started with a liter of saline to make sure he was fully hydrated (NP thought

Knowledge Isn't Enough
Hi Everyone! I've been reading and responding for several months, but this is my first OP. ADHD was diagnosed at 54, I'm almost 67 now. At the time, I was still working, and Vyvanse was a small miracle! After several years, I got breast cancer and stopped meds while I went through chemo and radiation

Flushed after chemo treatment
I’ve just had my second chemo treatment (carbopactol and taxol) for endometrial carcinoma) . The day after I wake up to red flushing on face and neck sometimes extends to chest. After second treatment it lasted into second and third day. Nurses on triage line said to take Benadryl. That did help a little
