Postponing chemo because of radiation?
Hi all, My dads first radiation has been sheduled for June 21st. However his 3rd chemo is set for June 26th. When briefly speaking with his RO he mentioned that chemo would be postponed in order to do radiation. This confused a me a little bit as from my understanding the radiation would be for pain

3rd time hair loss in 2 years
Hi all, I'm coming up on my 2 year anniversary of BC diagnosis. Just over 1 years since I was diagnosed stage 4. This last week I started a new chemo for targeted therapy. This is my 3rd med switch in a year due to progression. I knew it was possible that I could lose my hair again. (1st time with

The Arm Saga continues...to chemo or not to chemo
Eric's nerve damage and pain from his chemo leak over two weeks ago has been pretty severe - he's on Cymbalta for the nerve pain, and it's very sloooowly improving. It also kicked his butt - he had been bouncing back from his 3rd round pretty well - until he wasn't and the nerve pain came on with a roar

Referral from Wales to England - any experience?
Hi. I'm HGSOC stage IVb diagnosed in Feb. Just had CT scan following 3rd cycle of carboplatin/paclitaxol and 2nd of Avastin. CA125 has reduced from 374 pre-chemo to 26 post 2nd cycle which I'm hoping is a positive sign! I have spread to my liver and spleen and have been told surgery will only be an option

Advice Needed, Abiraterone Failing?
Hi to all, I was diagnosed with locally advanced prostate cancer back in 2018. I have had 40 sessions of radiotherapy and HT since then, I am currently taking Abiraterone with Steroids and I have a three-monthly De-Capetyl injection. My Gleason score is 7, (4+3). I recently had a Gallium PSMA PET scan

Docetaxel and deterioration
My oncologist last Tuesday informed me that: 1. The drug I am on, Xtandi, is going to fail. The is hoping it will manage the rest of this year and the next. 2. After that, all she has in her armoury is docetaxel, with 6 - 10 cycles spaced at 3 weekly intervals. She expressed concern that, as I

Neuropathic Foot Pain
Hello Warriors: I've just finished my second pluvicto injection and everything seems to be going fine. PSA is going down and I do have mild bouts of diarrhea but that is totally manageable. My 20 year battle with this disease continues. I will never give up . I continue to have neuropathic foot

Advice on bloodwork after radiation treatment?
Hello all, I have been coming back to this forum since finding it a few weeks back, and am looking for some advice and thoughts on my father's case. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer (a very low PSA) back in 2016, underwent a radical prostatectomy that year, and then radiation a year or two later

CA 27-29 has your tumor marker test ever gone into normal range
Update to my last update: the people who ran my blood said they mixed up the vials of blood with another patient. They offered to retest me at no expense. I go in tomorrow for my bloodwork retest. I can’t imagine how often stuff like this happens and how often it goes unnoticed. It says Mayo Clinic
