Do not feel guilty for feeling this way. You are not alone, as I'm sure most of us has been exactly there, feeling what you are. Get lots of rest, you need this. Feel better soon. Embrace the days you have some energy but don't over do it.

Sorry you are not feeling good Cazy1010. It’s no consolation now but in a year’s time you too will be out there enjoying the weather x

Hi Cazy 1010, I can only echo what Jacquiemoo and Lyndy have said. Just sending my best wishes that you will be feeling better soon. Take care, Donna xx

Hi Cazy1010. We all have days like that. On the positive side, it indicates that the chemo is likely working and the weather is forecast to be good for the next week. I’m sure that you’ll be feeling a bit more yourself next week and be able to get outside.

You can only respond to what you body tells you it needs - those cancer cells are having the life kicked out of them! 💥

it is very frustrating ! But just think - that chemo means you’re here to enjoy the weather even from indoors, and that this time next year, you’ll be celebrating having kicked cancers arse! Xxx

Sorry to hear that you’re feeling like this. This time last year I was just about to have major surgery and then started chemo and felt like I missed two seasons. This year I am NED (still on Olaparib and BARC1) and in a couple of weeks I’m heading to Asia and Australia for the summer with my family. So please hang on and accept those days you feel like rubbish and be kind to yourself as right now you’re kicking cancers arse. Fingers crossed that you’ll soon be able to plan something you’ll be looking forward too. Baby steps for now though and in a few days hopefully you’ll be able to manage a little wonder outside and see some beautiful things. Sending lots of love.x

It gets better although you would love being outdoors enjoying the weather go with the flow as your body needs the R&R to bounce back I'm in the states, our protocol could be a bit different I was given 3 days of steroids post treatment for possible side effects which I never had then crashed, I would hit a wall where I had to rest in my case it took about a week.

Very normal to tank after taking the steroids I had 6 treatments I did well but for me the 5th and 6th really wiped me out after the 5th I asked my Onc if I could skip the 6th she told me no that was the magic number.
