Middle of the night symptoms
I’m 51 and have had RLS during pregnancy. However, over the past 3-4 years, it’s been getting worse- likely due to perimenopause. I started oestrogen patches for perimenopause symptoms at the same time and I’m hoping they are not contributing to my symptoms I started taking ropinorole every night about

I am positive for Trab, TPO and Tg antibodies. I had Graves, was treated with carbi (didn't need high doses), went into remission and stopped carbi as per endo advice about 7 months ago (after 14 months of treatment), was ok for a few months and now, instead of suffering a hyper relapse as I thought

private testing
hi all, I hope you’re well. I’d like to ask about the finger prick home tests that Blue Horizon offers. How are they able to check all of the below markers with such a small blood sample? I’m aware that containers are super small and they claim to be testing a lot: Inclusions: TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4

magnesium supplements
hi all. I have read a few places that magnesium is a good element to take as a supplement. Does anyone have any recommendations for what type of supplement or magnesium compound/mixture is best? Any ideas most welcome.

Tired all the time
Lately I feel tired all the time, from when I wake up to when I go to bed in the evening, despite the fact that I sleep more than 8 hours per night. I take a lot of supplements (calcium, D3, folate, complex B, magnesium glycinate, heme iron),
the only value that was low was ferritin
but I do take

more blood results help
hi again, I’ve had further bloods taken after starting levothyroxine in July 2023. The doctor refused to do full bloods so only did TSH & vitamin D. They started me on 100mg of levothyroxine and I also took all the suggested supplements After 8 weeks I didn’t feel much better so increased to 150mg.

Low iron, supplementing with 3 Arrows
Hi everyone, I posted about a week ago after having iron studies done through the NHS, it came back that I wasn’t iron deficient enough to be treated by a doctor, but my levels were definitely low enough to start treatment since I’m already experiencing symptoms and don’t want to get worse….. Blood test results regarding magnesium - thank you everyone for advice
I posted previously about my mum’s anxiety and how she has been struggling with it for months now. After a lot of advice from this group, I requested that the GP checks her magnesium and thyroid so thank you to everyone who advised me to get this checked . Her results have shown that thyroid is fine.

Which magesium to take?
I've been taking Magnelon 300 soluble tablets for about 3 years. They were recommended by my GP when my PMR symptoms first appeared, but before I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist. They're fine but do have a laxative effect. Several people have recommended Magnesium Bisglycinate. Is this a good
