I've had RLS for over 35 years getting worse as I get older. I'm now 74. I did well on mirapexin 0.09mgs for years. Then it made my RLS worse and it moved to my arms . I came off it with the help of tramadol 50mgs. I started alternating mirapexin and tram ,it wasn't perfect but better than nothing, Then

Starting on Armour
Starting on Armour for first time tomorrow, I have been told to take 1/2 grain at 8am and 1/4 grain at 3pm. According to the Thyroid Pharmacists conversion table that is equivalent to 75 levo, I am currently only on 50 levo which I have been told to stop while I trial the Armour. I tried 75 levo 3

Advice please
I had a senior moment this evening and when I went to take my magnesium as I do every night, I mistakenly lifted my levothyroxine and took it instead. I normally take it in the morning. Should I NOT take it in the morning now or should I just carry on as normal. This has never happened me before.

Beta blockers
I'm 68, female with NASH/ Cirrhosis which is compensated. I have recently been prescribed 1.25 mg of Bisoprolol Fumarate (beta blocker) but I'm so anxious about taking it as my GP seemed unsure about any effect on my liver. I was wondering if any members take beta blockers with no ill effects? I'm also

Ferritin and TSI results.
Hi, I haven’t posted for a while as I have been investigated following a positive faecal occult blood test. They have found a large polyp in my caecum which I am having removed on Friday. For some unknown reason, I have had a few months of remission from my RLS but now they are ‘kicking off’ again.

Blood Test Advice
I have a blood test booked for 8.40 next Monday. The form says: FBC, Ferritin, Liver function, Thyroid function, Vitamin D. At the moment I supplement with Vitamins B12, B complex, C, D, K2 and Turmeric, Selenium and Magnesium. I have stopped B complex but is there anything else I should stop before

Neuropathy in feet, stopping Cymbalta - try more natural?
I'd like to get your opinion if you have been on something like Cymbalta (Duloxetine) and came off to do more natural methods. I'd like to stop the Cymbalta that I've been using for years to help with the neuropathy in my feet and look at other way to see if I can control it vs using an SNRI. I've

signs of mild hypothyroidism?
Hi there, New to this forum 👋 grateful to be here 🙏 I’m wondering if anyone could shine some light on my thyroid test results. In March 2023 my TSH was 0.98 (range 0.27-4.2), and my T4 was 15.5 (range 12-22) - this was done with a private GP so sadly no T3. These bloods were taken after 12pm and

Iron infusion flopped
Iron infusion flopped After my second iron infusion my serum ferritin catapulted from 55 to 588! Unfortunately, it did not stop the “bleed through”. Horizant, which is supposed to last 24 hours only controls my RLS for about 16 to 18 hours and then I get symptom bleed through. I was hoping that at

Heme vs Non-Heme Iron Supplements
Since being diagnosed with low ferritin three months ago, I've been on ferrous sulfate tablets (1 - 65mg along with 500 mg vitamin C twice a day with meals). It's been working fine (went from 11 to 45 in a month) without any side effects. However, early on, I purchased a bottle of Three Arrows Heme after
