I had a senior moment this evening and when I went to take my magnesium as I do every night, I mistakenly lifted my levothyroxine and took it instead. I normally take it in the morning.
Should I NOT take it in the morning now or should I just carry on as normal.
This has never happened me before. I don't know what I was thinking. Just a senior moment maybe. Your advise much appreciated.

50mcg is a small daily dose, so I wouldn’t worry unduly Sunflower535. If it does cause you concern, perhaps split the 50mcg tablet - taking half in the morning & half in the evening tomorrow.
Have you shared your thyroid blood tests with us recently? I’m just wondering if your dose is optimal for you.
My last bloods were October and are on my profile. They said to get them done again in a year which I thought was a bit long. I have felt better than I did but took a flu recently and have felt more tired. I was thinking I should ring and see if I could persuade my Health Centre to do them again but getting through to them is a nightmare.
Thanks for the advice. Maybe the extra dose will do me more good than harm.
Thanks, I think I will make an appointment to get my bloods done again. Then the fight will begin again to get them to up my thyroxine, but now I know more about my thyroid I might be more able to fight my case.
