Alternate Sources Of Lynparza
A friend has now been prescribed
Lynparza
for advancing PSA with the BRCA gene after Xtandi failure. Is there another source to obtain the medication from a reputable supplier, perhaps in Canada, besides the usual Medicare and retail route in the US? Thanks.

In the meantime, Jeff will start a PARP inhibitor, I believe
Lynparza
/Olaparib. We are guardedly hopeful!

Round 3 Cabazitaxel/Carboplatin combo
The most effective one to date was Olaparib/
Lynparza
which lasted almost 2 years. Two days prior to this round 3 treatment I had updated blood work (3/28/22). PSA has dropped dropped from 62 initially, to 14 after round 1, to 6 after round 2 three weeks ago!!!

An Enigma
I still receive an injection of Trelstar every 3 months and am currently taking the chemo drug
Lynparza
. Thankfully I have no bone pain and PSA scan shows no change in 1 year for minor lesions in liver and spine.

Fever with PARP Inhibitors (Lynparza or Talzenna)
Has anyone on PARP inhibitors had frequent unexplained low grade fevers (less than 100.5) and diarrhea? Fever is not listed on the label as a side effect but there don’t appear to be ably other likely causes. There are no apparent infections and blood counts are all pretty good (relatively speaking).

Thigh pain after Lu-177
He has been quite a warrior and guinea pig in taking almost all therapies thrown his way-
Lynparza
for only one month left him with lack of sense of smell and taste and loss of appetite. We almost lost him just from that. However, he plowed on and had two Lu-177 injections which were successful.

Parb Inhibitors Experience
I have been on
Lynparza
since June. PSA started at 16.4 and has varied between 15 and 17.5 for the 5 months I have been on it. Alt Phos has dropped from 121 to 74. LDH from 230 to 189. Just had a scan and it showed no progression even tho I have been in a little more pain recently.

Not responding
Zytiga,
Lynparza
, Keytruda. With the Docetaxel his psa just keeps going up. He just had his fourth round. Spoke with his local oncologist yesterday. He said if someone doesn’t respond to Docetaxel it ususally is a poor prognosis. I have not yet heard from Dana Farber Dr Beltran.

Brip1 mutation
Found to have a Brip1 mutation and started on the PARP
lynparza
but it didn’t have much effect on the PSA. He received. The initial dose of taxotere And it completely wiped him out. 2 months later and he still can’t walk independently.

Scan Results .
I am maintenance chemo with Avastin and
Lynparza
. I leave all of the decisions up to my Dr and does tweak things according to my blood counts etc. I go to her biweekly and do get a good physical then . My CA 125 bounces around 100 but she said as long it's stable ,she is happy .

COVID while on targeted therapy
She had debulking surgery and chemotherapy and is currently on
Lynparza
. She feels good with no side effects. Yesterday she took a COVID test, which came out positive. The thing is, when she was firstly diagnosed, she had malignant pleural effusion.

Looking for suggestions
Started
Lynparza
in September 2021 and PSA is 77. Tried to get into Lu-177 trial but excluded because of Chemo treatments previously. I have had numerous scans which show small Mets in liver and spine but thankfully no pain. Anybody have any suggestions as to next steps. Thanks
