Good day Altamontt! Welcome aboard .. you’ll get some direct answers from our knowledgeable members . Just call me “ meat head” that Archie Bunker was so dam funny at the time . We really dont have alot of comedy that that any more? Now , Pete Davidson on SNL is a riot . He’s worth checking out on you tube .. .. ...I’m waiting to see what the crew is going to tell you ? We can tell you somethings that the Doctors won’t . . Good job finding this cite . It’s helped me tremendously in the past four yrs that I’ve been a member . My first two years were rough and I had no one to ask . I started this out in 2015 at the age of 53 . We have a brother in arms tradition going on here . We all go through basically the same stuff only at different paces . I think you’ll find a way to push the sucker down some more . Keep swinging ! We can relate to each . Take good care Sir!🏜😎
No. I haven't tried those. I think from research I I've done, I like the idea of xofigo better than lynparza. Also having stinging various parts of my body from thoracic Mets. Able to do radiation o those while on xofigo?
Yes, you can zap troublesome bone metastases while taking Xofigo. However, it is not always safe to do so - it depends on the size and location. A good RO can look at your scans and determine whether SBRT to those bone metastases is safe (it usually is).
I just completed 10 sessions od radiation to my spine and sacrum. Tumor was pressing on the spinal cord and causing pain and numbness. Also wanted to take care of it before it traveled to my brain. Good luck!
Zytiga seemed to work with me for a while until my PSA started going up quickly. PSMA revealed an Oligometastatic lesion in my right Ilium about 6 cm diameter. I had 5 sessions of SBRT which knocked that right back. PSA creeping up again now though so going for another PSMA scan soon (when I get rid of COVID!). Hey ho....
No problem! It’s just like cold as I’m double jabbed and have had booster. I live in Newcastle Upon Tyne so not Japan it’s just where I was working when I joined this site!
I buy Newcastle beer here in the states. Although now days, or for quite awhile really I rarely have even one beer. Anyway can find the actual imported Newcastle and it is better than the Newcastle which is produced in Texas under the Newcastle label.
Yeah. Everything I've tried makes me anemic. My blood counts are down slightly all the time. I did start the lynparza today. But I'm wary of it. What did you do after?
My husband has been taking Lynparza since January and has tolerated it very well. He's 61. He has the RAD51c mutation. It's rare. All of his siblings have it as well. He had the same problem as you with prior therapies. Lu177 will be the 12th therapy.
