My husband has been on Zytiga, Lynparza as well as Keytruda all which have failed. He is now on Docetaxel he had his fourth round today. Psa does not seem to be responding. He will have bone scans and ct scan.Is there something he can take in conjunction with the chemo? If this treatment fails I don’t know where to go from here. Could any of you maybe share a similar story and what would be next as a possible treatment. Feel so defeated and petrified. Thank you so much

If Docetaxel is ineffective, he can switch to Cabazitaxel (Jevtana). That can work in cases where Docetaxel is ineffective and generally has less side effects for most patients.
LU-177 may also be an option if you can travel and have the funds. For that, it needs to be determined if the patient is PSMA avid. That's done through a PSMA PET scan.
I'm so sorry Fight11. I wish there was a "don't like" button I could push for this post. It does sound like there are other options. I know that Jevtana is on deck for us. Hoping for a successful next step for you. Hang in there.
