Sleeping all night.
My doctor referred me to a doctor in Dallas for my severe RLS. I was taking Neupro 3 mg every morning and 3mg ropinirole at night. I would not sleep pass 3:00 A.M. I stopped the Neupro and added 600 mg of Horizant at 5:00 P.M. and I sleep all night. I still take the Ropinirole. The doctor said

Am I augmenting already!!!!!
I have only been on the rotigotine patch for two weeks and two days and every day, my legs are getting worse. Last night I got no sleep at all and they're still going. I can only imagine that it is that... Any comments please? I augmented on pramipexole and I knew it was a risk but I was desperate as

Induction at 38 weeks due to IVF? pros and cons?
Hey, looking for some insight really. My consultant advised early induction at 38 weeks simply due to the fact baby was conceived via IVF. Her reasoning was that the NHS have a campaign currently to reduce the number of still births and whilst all babies are precious given this could be our only chance

SENSITIVE POST - high beta hcg
After our recent FET, we have been blessed with a positive result. My beta hcg was 3733 at 15dp5dt which is pretty high and I’m wondering if this means twins (we have put 2 back). I have already spoken to couple of ladies on PM but if any of you experienced a high hcg in early pregnancy, would you please

Second go round
Has anyone come off of Ropinirole or the patches due to augmentation, then gone back to taking it after a break of a year or two Just wondered as both of these worked really well for me for a couple of years each I have been taking Tramadol for 9 months and that is beginning to be less effective now

My medication for rls
I am 72 and looking back I guess I have experienced rls for at least 30 years but early on not serious enough to warrant medication. It was always in the evening when I lay down to go to sleep. Early on it was sufficient to merely get up and do some exercises and leg stretching exercises would resolve

PVT or PAD, Over the past 5 yrs. I've notice pain and heaviness in my legs and the last few weeks I can barely walk.
I went to my Dr. and she told me I was out of shape. I said he'll no. I know I am out of shape, but you know when something is not right. So, I told her I was going to see the vein Dr. That afternoon. Well sure enough I have dilated veins in my legs and they are going to do mapping on them in about a

Made me laugh!
Picked up my grey and white ball of paired gloves and set off for my run. Phone sorted in my belt, I went to put on my gloves, only to find that I'd picked up socks! Oh, well, you can cover your hands with socks - until you need to get a hanky out of a pocket!

Opiate study
This is a link to the first year of a study of rls patients taking opiates for relief. I have obtained permission from the administrators to share this here. Interesting to see the place of Fentanyl and methadone in usage figures. Cheers. https://partners.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u

I tested yesterday as I wanted the weekend to process things. I was sure it hadn’t worked, and I was sadly correct. I’ve not slept at all well this week and the anxiety really got to me. I just knew when we went for transfer our chances were so slim. The embryo had just reached a blastocyst but was

Calling All USA Suffers This is Your Chance to Help Us All!
Hi, I know there are a number of people on here from the US and there is some very important legislation about to be made that could affect us all or at the very least those of us with Refractory RLS where nothing BUT opioids will help. Or even if this isn’t you and you know a fellow sufferer like this
