Actinic keratosis & Lung cancer
Hi, Dad is in 5th week of taking Erlotinib and corresponding face rash appears to be under control with prescribed cream / antibiotics. Also good to see that his cough has reduced in frequency by around 90% and no increase in fatigue. My question is- dad has actinic keratosis ( for around 25 years +

Late diagnosis of asbestosis
My Dad is 96 and has had progressive lung disease for many years. He's a non-smoker and I always wondered about the cause. On 16 October this year he was referred to a respiratory consultant for the first time. She took a detailed work history (again, the first one to do so) and we realised just how

CYSTOSCOPY NEGATIVE August 2023
Hey Ladies and Gents. The urologist/oncologist says we can stop the monthly chemo infusions since my urinary bladder looks free of any neoplasm. And next April (2024), if it holds, I’ll be cancer free for three years and can get back on the lung transplant list. “Let your last thinks all be thanks

lobectomy top of r/lung
having lobectomy any day now. Tumour Stage 1, 2cm. Found on scan after bad fall. Nervous to say the least, anyone here had lobectomy? Am in NZ, care since finding tumour 8 January has been amazing. To say I’m glad I fell is an understatement! PETscan shows this tumour is only intruder 🙏🏻

Treatment options
Hi all. I have very recently been diagnosed with a Stage One lump. I saw my Surgeon two days ago and was given to options. (1) Lobectomy (2) Radiotherapy. I do have some thoughts of my own, but I would appreciate any advice before I make my decision.

I truly am very Worried and Concerned about the refusal of local Drs. to put a Stent into my Colon -(they all say I desperately Need!), so that I can go on
