Baseline figure from lung function test
After 10 days post hospital admission with pneumonia I went to have a lung function test at my local hospital. The result of the test was 438 a new baseline. My usual top peak flow is 500 (very unused as it doesn't match my height, sex and ethnicity) I should be blowing 420. One explanation was that

IMPROVEMENT!
After nearly two years of waiting, I finally got to see a consultant! He gave me various tests and blood tests and came to the conclusion that it's not my bronchiectasis that's the problem, it's my asthma. I'm now taking a Seretide 250 inhaler and feeling a whole lot better. Although still not brilliant

Bronchiectasis and unrelated antibiotics
Yesterday I had dental surgery to extract a molar because it was fractured ( could that be due to many many events with prednison???), and now I am on antibiotics amoxicilin. Dentist says 6 days or so. In general my peak flow always increases with antibiotics for other reasons (dental, urinary), but

thickness of lining
hi all, I was wondering if someone can reassure me. I am due to have FET next week and Iāve had a scan today and my lining was 15.5 mm thick. I didnāt think much of it at first and after āgooglingā it I read a thick lining is going to be less successful for transfer. Obviously Iām worried and I did

5dp5dt BFN after positives
I am currently 5dp5dt and feeling deflated. Second transfer, first fresh failed in September and this our first FET. Iām not sure if the positives at 3dp5dt and 4dp5dt were trigger or whether it was implantation that has not failed. Very faint lines at 5dp5dt but seem lighter than days before. I

FET and pregnancy testing
I am 8dp5dt with my OTD on Friday. I have in and tested this morning with a test I had and it came back positive. This was a FET. I donāt want to get my hopes up as this is cycle number 3, however could oestrogen or progesterone cause a false positive? I am on 8mg Progynova, 2 cyclogest and 2 lubion

6DP5DT & Scared
New here & first post but Google keeps popping the page up as I'm frantically searching. This is my 7th round of IVF, my third with DE, you'd think I'd be used to this 2ww but I'm sure it's getting worse. I'm 6dp5dt with 2 tested embryos and don't feel a thing. I did have a few twinges & sore boobs,

Faint line
Iām day 9 post frozen embryo transfer. I couldnāt help myself and have tested since day 6. Each test has shown a very faint line. Has anyone any experience of it staying faint? Am I just being impatient and it will go darker over the coming days or is it something else?

End of the Journey
Today my lovely daughter had her 5th & final embryo transfer. It was different from the previous 4 in that she has changed clinics, opted for a frozen 5 day transfer and genetic testing. One last throw of the dice....her choice. She is doing this alone and has been so strong throughout. She has decided

Hi everyone had my second scan yesterday for my unmedicated FET. My lining was only 4.7mm and they said it was a little thin . Iāve had a faint line on an ovulation test so worried itās going to be a cancelled cycle . But theyāve given me vagifem and Iām going back tomorrow. Did anyone try raspberry

decapeptyl injection during 2 weeks before FET
Hi! May I know if thereās anyone here been given decapeptyl injection for a few days before your FET ? I recently did my 2nd FET and it failed. As I compared the medications given during my 1st successful FET and my recent failed 2nd FET, I realized on my first one , decapeptyl wasnāt prescribed to

Feeling negative/unhopeful ahead of FET
Hi all, I'm about to start the process for my first FET - going in for my scan today and will start my medication. However, I can't help but feel so negative going into this and being convinced it's going to fail. I'd like to have a bit of hope but right now it feels so impossible. For background

how soon is your next FET after a failed one?
hi ! For those who has more than one FET, how soon did you all transfer again after a failed one? Is there an optimal period of rest after a failed one?

Possibly sensitive - advice needed.
Hi - I posted a few weeks back regarding a friend I'd met at the fertility clinic (we have been in the trenches together) had a successful FET & how I felt "why not me". Unfortunately she had her 7 week scan & there was no baby. I'm devastated for her, I've never had a friend go through this before so
