Antioxidants - Pro-oxidants.
It's common to reconsider diet following a cancer diagnosis. Perhaps give up foods touted as pro-cancer & load up on those thought to be protective. As though what we should have been eating before, is what we should be eating henceforth. But what if the cancer likes the new diet? It's widely accepted

I wanted to share a little bit of good news with you all. Started taking serrapeptase at the beginning of December in the hope that if I had any tubal blockages, scar tissue from my ectopic or fibroid removals, etc that it would help to reduce this & maybe unblock my tubes if there was a problem (the

The Good and Bad
Bit of a long post... My dad has had Parkinsons for several years now, started with a left hand tremor which has progressed to slow movement, some shuffling (though not as bad as some), and stiffness. The neurologist has had him on Pramipexole, Rasagaline, and Kemadrin for the last few years. Unfortunately

Mistakes vegans make
There are several common mistakes vegans, often new vegans make. They stick with transition foods as if they are healthy for the long term. Oreo's are vegan but over consumption is very far from ideal. They are perhaps close to the top of the processed food pyramid. A good vegan diet, in my opinion

Debilitating Fatigue
Hi everyone, I’ve been dealing with debilitating fatigue for the last 2 weeks. It’s the worst when I wake up. My body feels like lead and it’s so hard to do anything. I have to force myself to move. I started taking 115mg of elemental magnesium malate about 4 days ago, one per day, and noticed an

This is just copy and paste of an account I wrote to keep track of things for myself. Please note I have no medical training and I haven't checked to see if the web links at the end still work. I think most will. Adding June 2024: Importance of Vitamin C in collagen formation. Here is an article which

sharing a small positive
Disclaimer: I haven't been diagnosed yet, but endo is suspected. Just wanted to share some hope. I am on my period at the moment. The first day was the usual awful start; woke up at 1.45am by the pain, feeling like I'd been shot in the pelvis, stumbling around for painkillers and sitting in a hot bath

caster oil packs - best way to use?
My partner has ordered me some castor oil as I've read castor oil packs can help with period pains (mine don't respond to traditional heat pads/hot water bottles). Has anyone found the best way to use these, and with the least mess?!
